Wow?just wow! I know that bull xs not everyone’s cuppa t but wouldn’t say there useless an incapable there very handy if you don’t like being limited! They can be trained to do all types of hunting an just used. I think a lots changed for me I used to be mad for ferreting I’d mooch for miles as much as I could an lamp as much as I could but ive noticed the games changing around me an there’s more to life than just giving all my time to keeping a few different dogs for various things an hunting. I mainly lamp now 2-3 nights a week through out the season sometimes more I’ll ferret a bit but not much an mooch a bit but if I’m lamping that night there’s not much point in using energy up when if can be saved for the lamp I’ve only 2 bitches now one is retired damaged goods an old bones and the other is act

don’t think no one is on about running shit yet ???Thought the post was on fitness only date that has been mentioned is 8weeks time =2 months time by then it’ll be September a lot can change by then I mean last august it was considerably cool an we had rain nearly every day for a week the back end of august ??Who knows if it’s the same conditions as last year end of august beginning to the middle of September I’ll be making a start if the conditions are there if I don’t every other fecker will if your not first your last ??

This year I finished 23rd of feb I’ll start this season soon as the crops are down an we get a bit of moisture in to the ground if I don’t the farm hands have a bit of a purge with the guns if I’m not plugging the nights I want to get out before the guns get out

Not really a drinker at all weddings funerals normally but was in the shop yesterday it was a warm day an my misses said shall we get our selfs a drink each for after dinner tomorrow I picked this…..it’s a beautiful drink lovely flavour an after taste….. I can see me warming to the odd tipple of this drink on a hot day 10/10 from me any one else had this drink before how did you rate it or hate it or what other nice tipples can you recommend?

Hybridisation is a funny thing but one things clear what ever way you look at it the cross hadn’t produced anything useful enough to warrant it to be popular as a universal working dog Like the beddy.the beddys problem is that’s been it’s blessing is they have not a lot of control over size of the beddy so the hybrid can be skinny little fuckers to avarage size Lurchers of various builds. But who knows ??I’m my eye an on paper a fell or pat in modern times makes more sense from a working point of view trying to produce working dogs than a beddy due to the shit state of the beddy

Wonder what the reasons is for not using them in the first place it’s not like a pat or fell is a new breed of working dog theres got to be a reason they we’re always left on the shelf ??My guess is they produced small weedy little screamers that would yap the fields bare on the lamp or had lack of trainability to be of much use in the day ferreting or the like bet people thought what’s the point we have proven dogs producing the good to a decent standard why play about ??
