In the uk you race in a club you will win price money but not alot, You win money for pooling you pigeons, like backing a horse, if you send say 20 pigeons and you pool pigeon GB 62870 and he 5th in the race but the 4 birds in front are not pooled 62870 will win the pool money. in are club if you pool a pigeon all on you will get about £200 another club you could win about £300 i had a bird with the ring number 62870 won me over 2 grand racing.
