A big, long rope or chain through the coller as a long lead just short enough that he cant reach the fences but long enough that he can have a mooch about in the garden. -
Iv heard a rabbit make a growling noise. It was a pet rabbit when i was a kid. Horrid bloody thing it was! Used to run up to you and bite your ankles and make the growling noise! Looking back i reckon it was a territoriel thing but at the time it was actually quite scary! Lol!

Who the fucks going to be dim enough to admit doing it on purpose?! Yeah i managed to run an old fella over once. He saw me coming and crossed the road in front of me anyway showing off to his wife! Luckily i saw him too and was going really slowly by the time i hit him. He rolled up onto the bonnet and then off to the side. Scared the f**k out of me! Il stick to rabbits and foxes in future me thinks! Lol! Must admit i agree this is a pretty pointless thread and also that its got bollox all to do with any type of hunting.

Tesco have started selling puppies in their biggest, flagship stores nationwide. Apparently they have been taking the puppies away from their mothers far to young in some cases. Their slogan is "very little whelps"! Its been a long day! Lol!

£20 for a ferret. Its easy to say oh it should only be a tenner etc etc but perhaps thats what makes them a "throw away accessory" to so many people. How many times have we all heard "my ferret layed up yesterday, i waited half hour for it and it didnt show so i left the bloody thing, il get another next week"? Maybe if they were more money to buy people would treat them with a bit more respect? Im not having a dig at anyone, just an opinion.

Iv not seen any babies or youngsters at all here in the new forest. Mixy well and truely f****d um round here most of last year. Iv seen good numbers about in places that were pretty much devoid of rabbits just a month or so back so things ARE improving here but iv not seen any younguns. Its nice to see um bouncing back, i did think we were in for a tough year this year but my hopes have been raised by my recent sightings.

PRE BAN I think that even if the dogs capable of doint the job by itself theres always the chance of a f**k up, if youve got two dogs then i think doubled up is the only way. Look at it this way, if your in a pub and a mate gets into a fight your going to jump in aint you? Even if you know your mate capable of sorting it himself? Why risk your dog slipping at a crucial moment etc and getting his face bitten off when a second dog would avoid that? Theres far to many "im hard cos my dogs only got half a face" pricks in the game and they give the rest of us a bad name.

You need good reason to carry a knife mate. Iv been done for carrying (being in possession of) an offensive weapon so i know! Lol! If you have one in the car but well out the way (ie: in the boot) your in the clear, if its in your pocket/glovebox/passenger seat you must have a reason for it being there (ie: im on my way to go fishing/shooting/i need it for work to open packaging and im on my way to work). Cartridges, just keep out of sight. Again, the boots a good place for um.

I was going to ask on here about this myself actually! If the rescues are full up with greyhounds looking for good homes (some as young as 18 months) why not get one? Are they any good? Will they work? A mate i spoke to this morning says he has had three and all they ever did was crash! Embankments, trees, hedges, fences, he said that because of their track days all they knew was flat out and thats what they did right up untill they hit something. All three of his killed themselves by crashing into stuff at full pelt. Was he just unlucky? I would love to rehome an ex track grey myself -

I did hear that as bullets are classed as firearms if said bullet goes onto land where you dont have permission (even if its embedded in a deer, rabbit, fox etc etc) you are still committing armed trespass! -

I use kiddies powdered milk shelly. In the crap weather i give it to um warm after their walk, usually i give 1/3 of a pint each (as iv got 3 dogs) in a bowl with a crushed up weetabix each (ie: 3 bowls, 3 crushed weetabixs and 1 pint spread equally). I mix a few t spoons of gravy granules in the milk powder because it helps the flavour and makes it more attractive for them. You can add all the dietary bits and bobs too, cod liver oil capsules, vitamin pills etc. If they have been working extra hard in really hot or cold weather it helps their recovery to include half a t spoon of salt and hal

Tick remover mate. Grip it as close to the ferrets skin as you can and gently twist it anti clockwise till it pops out. Then dab a bit of tcp on the wound in case of germs and infection.
