    Having said that though, i do think it would be a good idea for you to leave the snaring and the air rifle alone for a few years untill you can be a bit more responsible. Maybe then you might consider going out with and learning from an adult who has been a country person all there lives and knows what to do and how to do it.

    Right, im not going to get involved in if its true or what the law is or any of that bollox. Firstly if he has your snares you have a right to go and get them back. So GO AND GET THEM BACK! You said his mummy would let you in so thats that sorted.     If only she could hold on for a few weeks Tanya. Im moving to a place with a garden soon (not sure when yet tho, max of one month) and i will be wanting to get some ferrets. If thats any use i would be happy to help.

    My plummer was more than happy having his nails clipped................untill i got a bit to close and caught the quick. Now i cant get near him if i have the clippers in my hand! Even if hese asleep, as soon as i touch his feet he wakes up and investigates if iv got the clippers out or not and if i have he wriggles, growls and snarls and wriggles some more and i cant hold onto him, certainly not well enough that im not risking cutting his quick again. So far the road walking seems to be doing its job but if they do get to long il have to find a way of sedating him! Lol!!

    now where is the fun in that? Oh you didnt say anything about fun! Lol! In that case get some bait (sausage and bacon dripping from the grill works nicely and it congeals nicely too) at say 35 yards away and keep an airrifle next to the window. At night a red light will help, rats cant see the red spectrum but you can still see the rats.

    I bet he expects you to send the money before he sends the car eh?! And i bet when you do the car will never turn up! As for driving a right hooker in spain........its not THAT hard! Lol!! I did it for 6 months and i didnt have any problems, it certainly wasnt bad enough for me to garage the car or to sent it back to the uk to at knock down price.

    Get a decent pest controller in mate. They know their job, are (or at least SHOULD BE) insured and qualified and should be members of some pest control specific organisation (either the national pest technicians association or british pest control association). If there worth their salt they will guarantee their work and have it sorted for you in a month.

    Huge fields = saluki x for me mate. 50% grey and the rest (for me) would be saluki and collie. Perhaps other stuff in there but i would defo want grey, collie and saluki in there.

    Iv fed mice to my ferrets loads of times. They need quite a few to make up a days feed but every little helps as tesco says! Lol!! If you live catch them legally they have to be killed before giving them to the ferrets but if caught in a kill trap you only have to chuck um in the cage. Iv never fed my ferrets on rats but i hear they just leave the tail.

    I had an idea a little while ago (and still have) that i wanted to put my plummer terrier across a bavarian bloodhound and then put the resulting offspring across a whippet. So i found a bavarian bloodhound breeder and called asking if i could buy one or perhaps put the plummer across one of their bitches. I was extremely taken aback by this womans attitude. One of her comments were "but bavarian mountain hounds are pedegree animals, we dont want their bloodlines sullied" to which i replied "and so are plummer terriers".     I dont ferret while theres a chance of kits. Saying that though, theres ALWAYS a chance (albeit a very small one during the winter) of kits. During the summer i shoot with my .22 or lamp with my lurcher and bush with terreirs and lurcher. So long as your doing SOMETHING to be seen to be controlling the rabbits the farmer will be happy.

    I had a call like that recently. Little old lady told me she was "inundated" with rabbits. Luckily when she asked for a quote i said lets see the place before i give a quote. Well i got there expecting to see a re-enactment of watership down but didnt see any. The lady showed me round and i got my .22 out and sat in a likely looking patch. I waited most of the day and shot 2 rabbits. I was doing it for the pleasure of being there so it was ok but if i wanted to make money out of it i would of had to charge by the hour, not by the rabbit! Lol!
