    Iv been through three moves so far with mine, once from croydon to lancashire, once from lancashire to lancashire and then from lancashire to hampshire. Each time i called the firearms team at the basc to make sure of proceedure and what iv said above is what bill harriman of the basc told me.

    I know the feeling mate! Lol! But if he goes after um to early in life he will learn that he cant catch um and so frustration will create a dog that yaps when hese chasing which aint what you want if your lamping. Also to much hard running to young can screw up his bone developement. I just let mine tag along and join in as and when. Obedience is what i want from him first.

    I would shy away from having him tackle rabbits at that age mate. I would let him come along when after rabbits but only to watch.

    Hese 3 months mate. I wouldnt worry to much about same age. In fact it can be best if they get out n about with an older dog. They learn commands like "come here" and "sit" etc by hearing you say the command and then seeing the older dog coming to you or sitting.

    They will get used to each other eventually mate. Just dont let them see you favering one over the other. Once the jrt has got round to realising the pups here to stay she will be ok. My plummer is VERY terratorial and he does begrudge the pup a bit still but hese getting used to it now. Iv had my pup 6 weeks.

    My plummer terrier seems to of finally decided to be friends with my collie x grey pup and i kept them playing together this afternoon for over an hour before they were both knackered!

    If your looking for the natural option go to the butchers and ask if they can supply you with all there offcuts. If you want to stick to complete puppy food then beta puppy is the one.

    A dog should react immedeately on ANY command mate, so if you blow the recall whistle normally it should have just the same effect. A dog doesnt have any concept of danger as such so wont understand that you only call him in this fashon if hese about to get killed etc. If you try teaching him roads are dangerous by having him watch you run over a fox youle see it wont stop him going in the road. Instant obedience is the name of the game and it only comes from persevering and persevering some more.

    Good luck! I had a beddy whippet grey that kept f*****g off once. I gave him away in the end cos i was so bloody angry and frustrated with him and couldnt deal with it no more! I got him as an adult dog that had been (unbeknown to me) f****d up by the wanker i got him off. Every walk he got as soon as i opened the car door he headed for the hills, 2 hours later at end of the walk sit in car whistling for half hour before he turns up (if at all). I vowed then and still do that i will never take on an adult dog again. If its any good the owner would not be getting rid for ANY amount of money!

    THE VIDEO/DVD IS THE OLD WAYS OF THE POACHER BY THE WARRENER(who is not getting a good press on a forum at the moment).ANY WAY HAVING GOT THE DVD I HAVE TRIED IT,AND IT HAS WORKED A FEW TIMES FOR ME.ITS GREAT TO WATCH THE HARE COME STRAIGHT TO YOU WITHOUT HESITATION.ATB TREVOR Cheers mate. Yeah i noticed that hese upset a few people by not giving a stolen dog back or something? I must admit i would like to see that vid tho so might see if i can find it.
