SJ we were out again today and had a good time although i worked tess my young pat it not the same without Ted as the big boy was always with us and we knew if the going got to tough for whatever dog was in there we could replace it with Ted and guauratee a result , but all is not lost as you say i have the 2 pups from him god they have some big shoes to fill and ill repeat the mating and try to reproduce some more Teds so fingers crossed the breeding programs only delayed a tad and all is not lost

mike you need to put a soliniod on it and wire a push button switch to it that way you can use your car battery and regulate the speed by pressing the button this way you can keep the lure right on the dogs nose if you have any problems let me know

Moo not all alauntes are heavy dogs the alaunte gentle is a very racey dog but will do the biz with the best of them

under english law CATS are classed as property and if its goes off its own property it is classed as feral and has no rights so you have nothing to worry about untill this new law comes into effect the dog welfare bill which will make it an offence for your dog to even look at a cat let alone munch it , but so far so good your in the clear

moo theres alauntes here smashing foxs and big stuff on a very regular basis , i never work my alauntes with the terriers ie draw dog s if i did id have no terriers left , a good alaunte s is a very under estimated dog and for the record not all alauntes are plummer shite as there 3 types of alaunte!! i don tthink these beast will catch on thank god with the shell suit brigade as the gene pool is to small so lucky for us theres not that many about , let the plonkers stick to there staffies etc

well halty old fella if you bull xs are working for you then iam happy for you but don t get blinkered theres other stuff out there just as good if not better, last year i put a EBTbased lurcher over scarlet one of my alauntes and the offspring were very pleaseing still a bit young to say there world class but there looking very promising scarlet

it never ceases to amaze me that we have all these wannabe experts on thl most have never seen an alaunte never mind seen one work, i kept bull crosses for years and had some bloody good ones but i get better milage out of my alaunte than i did any bull cross ie no feet problems , more stamina less injurys and they take anything you put in front of them single handed from pigs bambi to retreiving rabbits live to hand well most of them, there good dogs in the right hands but there not fashion dogs thank god

alaunts aren t the best guard dogs in the world but they do work and do it well mine are used regular on big heavy stuff with tusks and do the job just fine ,

we use it as a mixer as we feed raw and find it very good the shits allways solid etc and at £9 a bag it got to be a winner
