I use the Mal on the lamp mate the Whippet is my ferreting dog.

Took the rabbits to the butchers swapped it for a few joints of beef/pork well worth it.

If im honest mate he has been golden, so switched on easy to handle great round the kids couldn't of asked any more really.

No probs mate, the whippet is a great ferreting dog his off the mark speed and turning ability is unbelievable. Though the mali x is quick not much gets away from him.

Brindle one is a ped whippet. Black one is a Malinois x grey x saluki.

Hi all, I decided to get my arse in gear and started my ferreting season. I dug out my gear from the back of the shed and a couple of this years kits and set off in search of some action. Got to a farm that is over run with rabbits and the tennant is desperate for them to be shifted. I got to the first warren with both my dogs giving positive marks and netted up it was a nightmare under the hawthorn hedge. But it was worth it had a couple bolt from here and the ferrets were out showing no interest so it was off to the next sett. Again 100% marking from the dogs so me and Al got the

them pups were advertised 2 or 3 years ago i think do you have a pic of the father he was a first cross mal greyhound He was a first cross mate the dam was a Merlin and eve saluki. I don't have any pics mate sorry. It could of been the same litter as he is coming up 3.

Thats the best thing to do Rob,find out where they are running back to then net up you will no urself if there is any home. After reading that huge post it sounds to me like he was working if he is a clingy ferret and he was running through the hedge its obviosly out of character for hm.i've got a hob that won't even enter if there is nothing home don't ask me how he knows but he doe's. Iv'e learnt to trust in the dogs and the ferrets if they don't show an interest i don't even bother netting up. It took me some time to realise it but iv'e had better results since learning to do so. All the pigeons i feed my ferrets have been shot and i've never had a problem. At the end of they day if you were eating a Phesant or Partridge thats been shot would you eat the lead because i wouldn't So i doubt the ferrets will either.
