There about £7 quid mate but there is no dust in them at all. I used to use the bedmax its the same stuff only smaller. It seems to last for ages i reckon a bale will last close on 5 months.
I use the little max shavings mate best iv'e come across up to yet.

Thing is times were hard back then. Food is to easy to get hold of these days and we all are guilty of taking it for granted. Imagine not been able to afford food to feed your family. We give the rabbits we catch to our ferrets not many of us eat all of them. In them days a brace of rabbit would of been a cracking meal for a family and to precious a catch to give to the ferrets. Many blokes went ferreting because they had to not just for sport. I guess bread and milk was all they could afford. I agree that the past should stay in the past but it does make you think what it must of been like fo
Dont get me wrong mate what your doing is spot on. I only trot him i never run him the road is about 800 mtrs long just keeps him in shape and his feet good.
Bollocks to the bike riding get the dog to run up the side of the van. I run mine at 15 mph off the lead up the industrial estate after closing he just keeps up the side of me. Do it 2 -3 times a week when it starts to cool off to warm this weather. Remember to much road work can make a dog footsore don't over do it. Atb Tubba
Have any of you lads been down the butchers the weekend? I've just been down the pen and the ferrets have smashed a lamb rib cage they seem to be enjoying them as an addition to there Alpha ferret feast. Im saving the pigeons till the winter months as the flies are rife here Atb Tubba.
too much raw meat not good???? WHAT??
Can't JUST feed dogs raw meet and bone.
thought we were on about ferrets??
AYe, he mentioned dogs as well, so either he meant them or he's mental, but i cant be arsed to tell him.
Think you just did mate lol.
Maybe it would be a good idea if we could have this pinned. As it is beneficial to all of us that keep Ferrets and Dogs it can save us all a few quid and help get the best out of our workers.
I know mate i was in shock thought it would be a no straight away but he said they have to pay to get rid of the bones so he was happy the give them to me.
Been down the local butchers today runs a pretty big outfit and asked him if he had any meat scraps/bones for the dogs and ferrets. I came home with a bag full rib cages, hip bones the lot. Turns out he does all the boning out thursday/friday and he said he will keep everything in the fridge for me to collect on a friday evening free of charge. Thought i would post this as its a free way of keeping your Dogs/ferrets in tip top condition all the best Tubba
