Hi there, I am new to these birds and brought 3 for my kids, 2 or 3 months back. Like you have said there not good for laying as i have had no eggs up to yet. I wasn't sure if it was me upsetting them or wether they were just not good layers. Thanks for your advice as i don't think i will waste my money on buying any more. Kind regards Tubba

Try a fox caller and see if you can squeak him towards you. I'd just keep flicking the lamp on and off till you can get him in range. Hope this helps.

Alright mate just a few thoughts that might be a benefit to you. I have kept and worked ferrets for a while now and i have never used a locator. The reason being i find once you have netted up you make to much noise walking about trying to locate the ferret/ferrets. A ferret who has been fed well the night before will come out when the warren is empty. I tend to net up and leave the warren for at least 30 mins before entering my ferrets. Try moving onto another warren and net that by the time you have done so the first warren will be ready to ferret. Another suggestion maybe to use nets with a

Try forcing your middle knuckle into its mouth until its mouth is wide open and hold it for about 15 seconds. Do this every time you handle him he should stop nipping in no time.

Alright lads, i am currently using a 3 arm mega magnet with air pro decoys. The problem is the battery im using a 12v 17 ah runs out after 3 or so hours. I was looking to buy a 12v 40 ah battery, will this be safe to use without burning out the motor on my magnet? hope you can help cheers.
