    I agree with you up to a point seen some really good whippet and Greys work well. But the the whole reason the lurcher evolved into these x's was largely due to the shortcomings of the aforementioned breeds ie stamina lack of coat etc. good point fella

    i think it depends on your perspective and what you have gone out to do that day if its pest control yeah fox 1 you nil although the terrier has done its job so its not a failure on the terriers part but yours some folk do it or did it depending on where you live simply for the sport of there dogs doing there job i know i used to let foxes run on pre ban unless i was asked to cull either way there will always be the time when you get the one that got away weve all had it at some time regards hedz

    i dont think any dog is 100% stock proof,ive had 2 dogs go funny with stock 1 actualy killed a sheep the other just took a serious disliking to them and saw them as quarry but was never given the chance to fulfil his desire and both dogs i had from pup and both dogs were stock broke from a very early age and both showed no interest for quite a few years neither were young dogs either one being 5 years of age the other going on seven and neither had shown any animosity towards stock before and had completly ignored them often taking quarry in the same fields as stock i put it down to maybe them

    i have to disagree with you FTB there is alot around sherwood forest etc where i live and i do mean alot but ive never seen them do damage in any scale near what foxes do to local wildlife populations or game birds or poultry am sure there a pest to some folk but ive never had a call to get rid of them and i wont touch them unless i one day do regards hedz

    i see alot of them round here never let the dogs near them though, i kinda like watching the little buggers you have to admire them for there size there bloody fearless and fast as lightning ive seen them tackle rats nearly twice there size and course rabbits along hedge bottoms its fantastic to watch regards hedz

    I had a phonecall yesterday of a donny lad...he wasnt best pleased with golly,s owner at all...the plot thickens same ere stabba so have i leave the little lad alone or all you f*****g cod heads will get some of the dony boys when 2 tribes go to war GO TO WAR lol

    mine would be a lamp with no less than 1.5 million cp witha dimmer swith that can be operated by the same hand holding the lamp a nice tight beam with a flood option would be nice the battery would have to give a minimum of 4 hours lamping time and be light a ruck sack design to complement this would be good the belt packs and shoulder packs can be akward sometimes sliping under wire fences also a loop or strap on the lamp itself so you can hang it on your neck to give you hands free if you want to use your hand for something ie fag break or taking something of someone i think if you could bui
