    There 3 lurchers here,i have an older dog of 5 years old that a young lad is working this season and ive got a 16months old wheaten/greyhound bitch that i am concentrating on this season hence the older dog loaned out and theres a horrible saluki based lurcher thats my lads thats 16 weeks old if i can put up with the bloody thing i guess that will be running next season i think 2 lurchers is enough to suit anybody really or 3 tops if folk out there have more than that i cant see how they can give the dogs work unless there doubling up or out 7 days a week regards hedz

    I had a saluki grey whippet pal,i adored the bitch as well only one ive ever owned fantastic rabbit and hare dog couldnt fault her but foxes forget it she would scream like a banshee if one bit her and would not tackle anything, i once saw the bitch jack on a squirrel i kid you not lol,its only because of her attitude and behaviour i kept the bitch for so many years she never caused me any hassle,i am not saying there all cowards and hope yours does what you want and all the best with it regards hedz

    Heres my take on it i have a heavy type bull cross his exact breeding is half cross bull to a 5/8ths 3/8ths wheaten grey and he is a lump of a dog but he is up on the leg being 27 1/2" to the shoulder and this dog has caught a fair few foxes on the lamp but in all honesty i have seen more slink and jink there way to freedom from him which i cant take away his lack of trying trust me the dog is no fool and uses his head just sometimes i feel he has lost that agility and turn through his weight,he can move though being up on the leg,now i did have the dogs sister as well till she was stolen from

    Hopefully this is just a fad the public is going through,it is quite worrying though and it is partly to blame on the tyro terrier men in the first place the ones that sell them for money because the pet market is more lucrative and holds higher prices,just remember there is some big names that sell a fair few pups to the public as well so there not all council estate shed litters of god knows what,the show and pet folks have already ruined the border terrier,the bedlington and the lakeland to a degree luckily like its been said there are a few good lads out there that have kept those breeds t
