    problem is a very large percentage of those dogs have faults you most likely wont discover till youve got the dog home ie; little or no recall, dog aggression, cant be kennelled and is destructive so cant be kept in the house either, has an injury, might be stolen, dog wont even look at a rabbit, dog is a nightmare around livestock, no lead training........ etc etc your better off training your own dog from a pup instead of trying to fix someone elses mistakes

    was driving round a roundabout during rush hour just outside of galway city last summer and there was a fine looking piebald horse grazing on the roundabout, fecking thing took a notion to jump over the bonnet of our van and galloped full pelt down the road. must have escaped from somewhere but if it had caused a crash whats the betting the owner would be nowhere to be found Bloody hell, I bet that shit you up a bit didn't it!!! ive seen what can happen when vehicles and livestock collide, i wasnt happy about it anyway accident.bmp

    except that i use olive oil thats exactly how i do it,maybe its just the quality of meat. olive oils fine, with steak you get what you pay for, buy from your butcher, havent found a good steak yet in a supermarket

    get a good quality t bone steak from a good butcher. a few whacks with a tenderiser, plenty of pepper (no salt at this point) and onto a red hot pan with a dash of rapeseed oil turn it over, serve onto warm plate, season with good pinch of salt. and serve with sauce of choice and a few homemade onion rings (i prefer my steak very rare)

    if i go away for a few days i leave the pups, the potlicker and the collie at my mums and bring the patts with me as my auld lady is afraid they will kill all her potlickers and pet cats (they probably would though )

    michael i would like to have got to kevin em show but unforunately the pheasants for our shoot are arriving this weekend and this will rule out me being able to get to his show. what others are coming up that you think a lot of these lads and ladies will be attending? seriously, kevins show next sunday going by last year is "the show" to go and see, if you can get someone to cover for you for a couple of hours it will show you exactly what terrier and lurcher men/women want from a show. if you want the best for your show, learn from the best
