    i picked up 2 new recruits the other day, 1 is a VERY handsome big (but not too big) sandy hob, the other is a scrawny little albino, both have nice temperaments + bolted 5 rabbits, 3 into the nets 1 to the dog + 1 came out of a hole id missed + got away. had the choice of quite a few albinos but picked this one at random because my first choice was a little too nippy + impatient with being handled. this one will do me fine though.

    would it be possible for a vet to give the calcium injection as a preventative measure immediately after whelping in breeds like ebt that are prone to this condition or would it do more harm than good? ive never had the misfortune of this in a recently whelped bitch but i have seen it in dairy cattle.
