you've cracked it. pointless though as well as cruel, i bought a ferret kit once at a fair, only when i got it home i realised her teeth were nipped. she failed as a worker, gave her to a rescue, i wondered after if she didnt hunt due to pain from teeth being nipped? its a good idea to check animals over when you buy them i did check it over it was in perfect health otherwise, docile little kit easy handled, didnt think to check the teeth in a ferret kit for some reason, i always check a dog or pup and other livestock

as far as cheap dry food goes i buy just out of date or near date top brand dogfood to tide me over when they havent got barf; eukaneuba, hills science diet, james welbeloved come to me out of the backdoor of my local vets for the same money that you'd pay for the cheap shite dog food, ive feck all money but my dogs want for nothing, seen a certain snobbery sneaking its way into this topic, theres people who take care of their dogs and theres people who dont. seen men living in houses worth 3/4 million driving around in mercs with dogs in poor overall condition. with dull coats

i get fish heads for free from the fish man at the market, dogs love them, ferrets werent impressed with them though, they prefer rabbit or fresh killed rooster. also, i take away unwanted roosters for culling for free, few minutes later its skinned and gutted, dogs love it! freshest chicken there is! whole rabbits, whole chickens, fish heads and bones from the butcher.... all free, if your in a bad way financially and are shrewd about it theres no reason you cant keep dogs for next to nothing, couple of cheap bread loafs from tesco and job done also feral goat is a good addition to
