its an interesting read all right, im still dying to get my hands on a good bull x, none of this puts me off as i know i can handle the people problem side of things even if i am a touch rusty, and ive the work for a bull x as well. had a 1/4 bull grey before but she was a touch light for my liking and oversensitive for the breed.

your phone number is enough information, id also put a second contact number on it. I think you are supposed to put postcode and house name or number- plus mobile no. is good idea. that way you wont miss the call if you are out lookin for him there are no postcodes in southern ireland. yet. my house doesnt have a name or number. everyone knows everyone in the area personally

the rescue who i was talking to personally (this was over 2yrs ago at a show) was silvers ferret rescue/sanctuary. cant speak for them as im not affiliated with them. spoken to a few ferret owners in ireland that have seen it. only for my own experience of it id be as incredulous as the rest of you. i live in rural ireland where old wifes tales are still viewed as fact by many.farmers still look at the roof of a collies mouth to see if its black before they believe its purebred. etc etc

i was bitten at an agricultural show by a st bernard trying to attack my terrier bitch, i saw the st bernard going in for the attack and lifted her up by the collar into my arms and turned my back on the dog and he jumped up and bit my arm trying to get my terrier. i told the owner to leave the agri show with the damned st bernard immediately before i lost my temper , i was examined by the ambulance folk, lucky i was wearing a jacket or it would have been a bad bite, just a few small holes and a lot of bruising, my terrier bitch then went on to win the jack russel class less than 20mins later

there seem to be a lot of people in denial that theres people out there who cut the canines in ferrets. the canines on the silver jill kit i bought were cut, not wore, they were square, not rounded, in line with the rest of her teeth. this is ireland im living in, its not half as civilised in some respects as the uk where animals are concerned. ive witnessed a lot of things over here that you'd be jailed for in the uk. happening at horse fairs and the like. wont say what as it'd horrify many. there are people over here that believe that cutting the canines of ferrets prevent them holeing up.

i believe my collie bitch is showing signs of a false pregnancy, sent her up to my parents for a few days, she tied with their neutered merle collie boy dexter several times over 3days, brought her home and she was still in bloody heat, kept her seperated for another 2days, enduring constant howling from my boy, found him about 6/7days after she started accepting male attention under the dog trailer with her, they were not tied and i believe she was out of season by then, they were unsupervised together for less than 10mins (hoping shes not in pup) sorry seemed to have started waffling

at the moment im crossing a cornish game cockeral with my hybrid layers, i get loads of eggs and any i hatch are fit for the table, will also be buying in welsh blacks from castle farm this year as well

if he doent suit you gav, id be interested, im looking for a bull x at the moment although i was looking for a pup. if he doesnt make the grade after ive done training and got him fit id let you know and then find him a pet home. thats if you dont decide to keep him yourself?

if its worrying you that much go to the doctors, incase youve done serious damage to your hand (are you sure you burnt it and havent injured it pulling at a certain part of your anatomy )
