Seen a mates bitch lay with cubs and not harm them at all,seemed to be mothering them and she was as close to an 100% digging dog you could want,she wouldnt hold off an adult though in cub or not,never heard of that before. Good post spider. -

The reds are still there,saw the herd 2 days ago,but they are still owned by the estate,the shoots a syndicate and dont have control over them,probably just as well,nice herd well managed. I had terriers for a long time but gave up a while ago,just into having a mooch with the lurchers/spaniels with my lads and mates,do a bit of ferreting now and again,just into being out with the dogs in good company and seeing the odd bit of sport.

I know every keeper thats been on there for donkeys yrs,but the one im talking about was recent. Theres nothing left now,the new keepers given out permission like confetty,loads of lamp/rifle,some dont even pick them up,pure vandalism imo.

We probably arent that different turnout,ive got mates/family who have/do keeper,and im no field driving chav,dont agree with any of that shit,theres good and bad on both sides,its just a hobby to me now im no more than a bit of a nuisance to the local keepers,we supposedly had an agreement with the shoot owner,his keeper didnt honour it,maybe thats why im grumpy about keepers at the moment. They will pay for it though.

the last sentance says it all really,rarely will a russel beat a lakie in any show and havin white uns in the russle classes just makes it less likely for the russle,s . I got nothing against white lakies at all but most seem to be bred just for shows and its a slippery path to non working crufts dogs. work first,show for a bit of fun You cant intentionally breed true white lakelands,the dogs on this thread[with the exeption of natters maybe?] are russell x lakelands. found summat actualy agree with you on cant believe it Think we might agree on a lot more than you realise.

We all know neither the Tories or Labour are any good,if they were they have both had more than enough time to make this country strong and a good place to live,greed and lies from the both of them,same old same old. The Tories have announced 7bn in cuts so we know what that means,labour are intent on giving this country away to foreigners rather than looking after their own? We need some radical party that put THIS country and its INDIGINOUS people first,labour and the tories just take turns at bleeding us dry and lining their own pockets and the pockets of who they really represent.

Are cities and towns breeding grounds for vermin

Got to agree mate,our towns and cities are full of vermin,i dont think this vermin makes a big impact on the open countryside though,ive noticed loads of vermin in my town,and some of it is exotic vermin,this exotic vermin is having a very destructive effect on our native species,but we all know if theres free food about we'll never get rid,should be a big cull imo. -

i keep odd hours ,and they dont ,the worst thing they could do was inflict pain on me ,how do you think the owner of a shoot would react if the keeper had upset some one that could and would make sure nothing would ever live long enough to be shot year after year ,how long would they keep their job You would get locked up if you were caught in the act and if you kept on repeating. A Keeper can also use a reasonable amount of force to remove the offender. Remember that a Keeper is not going to let you get away with destroying days shooting.
