Ive seen mink fifty yards from a family of otters on a scottish island, neither seemed bothered about the other and could definately see each other.
  2. That doberman clip blows the myth about them disembowling the dog with its hind claws ive always doubted that as the they dont retract and are blunt. A dog is always going to be at a disadvantage against a largish cat because cats are natural lone hunters whereas digs have evolved to to hunt and kill in packs ie bite and stretch until the animal is exhausted I think a pack of good dogs could tackle even the large cats I dont care what you are a couple of 90lb bulldogs hanging on to every limb gonna give you something to think about, if dogs can kill bulls they can kill lions et al.
  3. I wouldnt have one dog if I lived somewere with big cats id have bout ten keen bulldogs, see something try it on then

  7. If you shut the bottom one and open the top ones the embers will pile up at the bottom and stay hot if the airs passing through them they just burn out quickly and turn to ash in no time.
  8. Keep them all open when lighting and close the bottom vent once its going all that air blowing in from the bottom will just burn your logs rapido amd send all the heat up the flue

  10. Tell me about it, I dont think our estate is in a clever place tbh but I dont get why they dont have gates to let the water into the fields after rufford surely its better to lose a few crops and the upside would be saving on fertilizer next season.

  18. Had tons of 4x4s,estates and vans so heres my opinion unless your goin to use 4x4 often i.e drivin fields, your payin a lot for the occaional bit of snow so prob not worth it small vans are ok but not really gaining anythin as well there small so cant fit anythin you wouldnt get in an estste and only got 2 seats. That leaves estates and bigger vsns, ive just got rid of a honda accord 2.2cdti estate the older style 2002-2007 I think mine was 54 plate and it was a crackin motor heated seats open and shut the boot off the fob eleccy everythin every toy goin cost me 1300 with 170k on clock it cost
  19. to day talking to a mate who lives by me , is picking up a bitch boerboel pup next week from London . he said it from top import working lines, and its cost him £ 1600 quid , bloody hell my 2 dogs only cost £ 40 quid lol. he had it as guard dog, he works away a lot so his mrs is on her own fair bit. he got male dogs there all ready (hounds) he was advised to get a bitch , as a male boerboel can be very dominant, so bitch be easier to keep with the other dogs . I still think a bel/mal or good gsd be better and cheaper to buy ..!! That price wouldn't surprise me as my mates dog was £

  23. On that note I started following utd in about 88-89 for no other reason than my dad did and thats what young lads do eh,lucky for me they were about to embark on 20years of dominance however as a teen I started goin to my little local team with my mates for the crack, they were all diehards and young wannabe hooligans and well would you believe they won the second division then the first and eventually winning the fa cup I must be dipped in it eh. I got some stick over the years as I would never say I supported latics because as you know once you pick ateam theres no changing despite goin to a
