I need to buy a new 4x4, for various reasons it looks like i am looking at a twin cab pick up. It needs to be able to do the biz off road, both in terms of lamping and also general countryside work but i also drive from wales to scotland fairly regularly. Any suggestions on which are better and which are to be avoided? atb Jai.

I'm in monmouthshire and after speaking to quite a lot of folk aparently no one thought they were this far south. He ran up a tree to my head height and watched me for a couple of mins while i was out shooting squirrels. He was a cracker.

I put up a big topic on here not so long ago about angoras in which i put down lots of info/research about their origins, genetic problems etc etc etc.

I agree all that matters is that the dog works - but when you are breeding it's handy to know the rough percentages because breeding lurcher to lurcher can throw all sorts of pups and possibly if there is too much of a certain breed then the offspring may not be able to do the job that their parents can.

It's not apathy my friend, and i agree with a lot of what you have said. You make salient well articulated points, and although there are of course plenty of counter arguments which are equally as valid, you opinion is interesting to hear. Whats not needed however is juvinile racism that wholly depends on lack of knowledge and gross generalisation based upon the actions of a few individuals, and that is often what is tossed about here. and you know what buttons to press to get them going Don't i just

You don't really have much of a point seeing as how more americans die than brits. To be fair we have been there before - my grandfather and great grandfather both fought in Afghan campaigns and said there is nothing wrong with the afghans they just dont take kindly to folk invading where they live, dont matter if the invaders are from the usa or the next valley they fight like tigers. We out equip, out mechanise and over power them but at the end of the day whats the point policing a country that wants us to f**k off, losing troops so the fat cats can line their pockets through military arms
