are whippet the best rabbiting dog?

For the record i f*****g love my whippet. BUT, the word BEST should be obliterated from any conversation about running dogs. It's just plain dumb. There is no one best breed or x for lamping fox, for ferreting, for hunting bunnies, as a terriermans dog, as a mooching dog, to tackle deer etc. Best just don't mean shit. -

Aye, f*****g miles from decent sea. And i do usually take the mutts to the lake or the river but as its a bank holiday weekend everyone and their b*****d aunty is there with sprogs and dogs in tow, and with my two it's just a recipe for disaster! Mink hunting perhaps? Hunting with dogs in the sun but in water? (i mean 'exercising' dogs and mink)

So i'm sat here bored - Jobs are done. It's too hot to run the dogs, or even take them on a lead walk. It's too bright to go fishing. It's a damn bank holiday weekend so we have funny folk on horses all over the shop, severely limiting the shooting possibilities, and the only shooting that needs doing is in public woodland. No good for ferreting. So what do you do on these kind of days apart from sit in the garden and drink beer? I need a sunny day field-sport!

Not being funny mate, but if it's catch and release, dumping him on the ground in the heat for the photo might not be the best idea.

this chap is a new commer to the site and he asks a genuine question about a sport he is big into. how i know this is because he happens to be my nephew and is only new to ferriting. on his very first post on this site you try make a c**T out of him. seems to be a pretty common trait of yours to be an arrogant twat. and then you go on to insult the irish..... idiot. if you have notthing constructive to say or offer to new young members except sarcasm then you should be fu**ed off the site and become an internet hunter on some other site. the IRISH do have two distinct breeds of ferrit. poleca

Haha, been up on Ynys Mon (anglesey) with the misses, messing about. What was i getting slammed for?

30,00 members. You meet any group of 30,00 people and i'd expect at least 25,000 of them to be bell ends, so i reckon we do pretty well on here, at least most of our bell ends are good for a laugh. I met one of my best mates and hunting partner on here. And out of the three or four lads i've met up with they have all been sound as f**k.

Black, Brown, Ginger, Sandy, White, Tri color, Half white half normal, Blue, Grey. All of them are different mutations of the agouti coloring. Apart maybe from the tri-color.
