A lot of our rabbits are put to ground by the dogs. On one permission it is pretty much every rabbit we catch (odd land that), and sometimes they fight it out a bit longer, but most of of the time they get the boot and come out. Don't get many digs. I know what has been said IS true, but it's not like a definate.

Sad thing with ferrets mate is that by the time you have noticed that they have gone really down hill, there is usually not much you can do. As has been said though, some vets don't kow anything about them mate,but pretend to. Have a look about and see if there are any vets that deal with them regular in your area. R.I.P Jill. And i agree with KittleRox on that one. (the vets fault not yours)

you get around jai lol I do that mate, in the past a lot more. Itchy feet i guess, and i like to have a good look see. Scotland is in my top 3 countries though mate. Lived in the burgh and on Fala moor in the borders And spent a lot of time driving about it.

It was the wierdest f*****g thing mate. Half the people there wre just ordinary folk who were out and about for a look see when the police cordoned off the streets, and then charged a load of horses in. I was jumping about on the top of the bus shelters on princes street taking photos, and when they cleared everyone from princes street into the gardens with the horses and riot police, i found myself the last man in the street, looking a bit obvious stood on the f*****g roof of the shelter, the police told me to get the f**k down or they would send the dogs up, so i jumped down and got jumped o

Aye, those riot cops are b*****ds, i've been on the receiving end of their batons a few times. I was at the G8 in Edinburgh, i lived there at the time, and that was a mad week, and the police were the ones making the problems, they thought they were soldiers, dressed in black, hammering their batons on their shields, roaring and charging. I've got some decent photos on my other computer, i'll have to dig them out some time.

To be fair i only went once mate, but if its the place i'm thinking i could have thrown my rod to the other side of the ponds, and it was way way way crowded. Also seemed a lot of the guys mates hanging about and generally butting in and acting the mega fisherman. I might have the wrong place, and i AM an anti-social kind of fisherman, so bear that in mind. And yer the easy fishing bit, it's not really my cup of tea. Can see tho, if it was quiet, it would make a handy teaching spot. Not a bit far from you tho? You fished any others in this/that area?

They took DNA swabs and matched them to family members of his that lived in the USA. There is a member on here that has for the last few years been trapping members of a wild breeding feral ferret population, living in old rabbit warrens and feeding on rabbits etc. No shit.

It was a buck. But either way, it was dinner And as for the KZ, the bunny was pretty much facing me, slightly angled with the right side showing a bit more, so rather than try for a shot behind the eye at that angle and end up striking only a glancing blow, i was intending for the pelet to pass through the eye and into the brain. As it happens it struck low, but the force must have carried the pellet through the bone and up into the brain.
