  1. That's SOME whippet mate, fair SCREAMS collie.
  2. only problem with long-netting is it takes away the enjoyment of shooting atb sneeky Aye but doing a good job gets you more land to enjoy that pleasure
  3. Aye as far as i'm aware she still has her milkies, as big as they are Cheers for all the kind comments. I was f*****g raging when my mate first brought her round, she was in such a state. No idea who would treat like shit and then dump a pup so young, who hasn't had the chance to do anything wrong. I'm just glad now that she has fallen on her feet, is well looked after and loved, and will even get to have a crack at a working life, but with no pressure
  4. No one would advise a Russel? In my opinion, often the best rabbiting dogs.
  5. You thought of trying a long net mate? Handy as f**k in such places.
  6. Seems like they do postage as well, to another gun shop, and i like the bit that every gun comes with a life time warranty
  7. Your just tempting me with all these photos mate That was my tempted face
  8. Your just tempting me mate :-)

  9. f**k me son, your beyond help. And have some growing up to do. What was the old saying. . . . better to keep quiet and let them think your stupid, than open your mouth and confirm it.
  10. Cheers everyone. I forgot to say, we named her 'Belle'
  11. Well . . . . .it can. I mean you can pull the trigger. But it's still very dodgy ground, unless you have witnesses. Otherwise its your word vs the owners word. Also there would need to be proof that you tried other methods, and that it was ACTUALLY worrying sheep rather than just running through them. . . . . If you shoot a dog thats in a field of sheep, with no dead sheep on the deck and no blood on the dog, your pretty likely to lose your license and job as per my previous post. But i fail to see why the feck your talking about sheep, as i thought we were talking game keepers vs poa
  12. Yes mate, that's what i was thinking I'd still put a mesh under the clear roofing, better be safe than sorry. What i'd do is wire off one end, and use that as a sleeping area / indoor court, but i would also maybe put a wee mesh run outside and have a pop hole between inside and outside i could shut off. Be nice in the summer for them, and handy to shut them off in there when cleaning out the inside. Also check how hot / cold the shed gets.
  13. Aye i think you may be right, it'll be interesting to see how she comes on and what height she makes in the end. Unless she is staffie ( ) cross grey or something, and just a straight half x. Aye i told him today, nails need a trim and i think she needs a bit of a worming. She's on grass, earth etc all the time and doesn't get any road walking or a concrete kennel floor, so they don't wear down. But cheers
  14. I'd cut some holes mate, maybe in the roof, and then put in a metal grill with perspex over the top (stop anyone breaking in).
  15. Cheers mate, that's Ruby, my best jill. Not the best photos of her, i'll get some more at some point. She is very 'direct' Those pics were taken the other way around, i opened the box, and as soon as she saw the rabbits, started chattering and leapt out of the box to 'have it' with them I've seen her try to climb a tree we have dead rabbits hanging on. She's a wee bit obsessed. I am hopefully having a litter from her this year (in 2 weeks), my first in a long time, to keep the blood line going and get in some new troops!
  16. Thats some back peddle that mate. But you still cant help coming across as a prick - All these really rude and agressive lurcher men, who threatened death threats ( umm no), to the poor wee lad who was just in general talking about the keepers of old, are the reason that lurcher folk get a bad name. Lets just remember you said - - "Lurchers are seen in the keepers eyes as poaching dogs (tbh thats what they are)," - "If a keeper has half a chance to shoot a lurcher we will. sorry but i speak the truth" - "You may get the odd keeper with a lurcher, but he is no t
  17. This is the ferreting section mate. Try the gamekeeping section.
  18. Cheers. Aye in one area they do seem to have heads like buckets! The last photos are of the last rabbit we bolted for the season, and as it was a pregnant doe, we gave her best and let her run.
  19. Try the pest control section, you will probably have more answers.
  20. A VERY unusual one. Looks more like a blue gerbil, except the tail is way to thin.
  21. That's the thing, the markings make you think collie, the classic black and white, but i'm not sure, if she was black i don't think you'd see collie. The way she acts just says bull / lurcher, but she seems an intelligent wee thing (but i find most dogs are), she has a bark on her, and straight off the bat once settled was bullying the other dogs off bones and getting quite snappy over them, also fecking loves water
  22. This cropped up in the general section, and i had a look, looks like some good deals and folk who know their air guns. Just thought it might be of use / interest to someone. http://www.theairguncentre.com/
  23. Saw this in the general section - worth a look - http://www.theairguncentre.com/
