  2. Yer i like that, never having to open the thing and f**k about with batts, just stick it on the wee cradle over night. Also handy having a built in torch you never have to charge!
  3. Bit mental, but i'm not that surprised. I used to date a South African girl who had just moved over here with her family. They had brought two Ridgebacks with them, not the pussy ones you see over here, but the real deal, some VERY impressive looking dogs. They had an absolute hatred of black folk, mainly due to the fact that most crime around them was committed by blacks and so were trained that if they saw an unknown black trying to enter the house / yard etc, they just piled in. All well and good, until you move to the U.K and your postie is a black bloke. where do i buy a pu
  4. so your the one who buys all that tack from the scottish tourist board lol glad he healed up for you mate Made the trip up there and i must say. . . . . bit disappointing. Finding the Golly Wog was by far the highlight! Lunita - aye it might be worth something, that's if Finnbar doesn't eat it. Think the badges are about here somewhere and all. My lad is just really bad with anything even remotely fluffy or furry, or that he can maybe eat.

  7. Fecking John o Groats gift shop! Only about 4 years a go, walked in and it was like 'Loch ness monster, highland cow, golly wog" bit odd i thought. If they are banning them i probably shouldnt let the dog trash it. Cheers for the dog compliment and all, he's healing up now, had a couple of daytime bunnys in the last few days, so things looking good.
  8. Looks like it's going to last forever mate. Nice.
  9. You sure it's the stoats killing them mate? Just curious, how are you finding the bodies? +1 Also, if someone has given you permission to shoot rabbits on their land, what makes you think they'd gave you permission to kill all legal quarry? I'm second guessing here so may be wrong, but if I gave permission to somebody to come onto my land & control rabbits, I'd be pretty pissed off if they were shooting one of natures effective natural forms of rabbit control... Usually if someone want's you on their land to control rabbits they want them killed, not sustained for someone else'
  10. You'll never guess where that came from mate? As in, where i bought it!
  11. It's a video, click it.
  12. Nice pups, i like all of the last 3, look like they are going to be strong dogs looking at them heads and paws. Whats the breeding Rocky?
  13. i only used to bolt the rabbits i never dug for them i thought it was only illegal to disturb a badger sett by digging on it which i never did. i was only after the rabbits i had no intrest in the badgers that lived there. It would still be classed as disturbing the sett mate so yeah its illeagal and the fines you would get are huge plus the confiscation of any animals and tools you used Yup, doing anything to a badger sett is a no no in the eyes of the law, and i think netting it up and running stinkers through it probably counts as 'disturbing'.
  14. You are allowed to carry it as long as you are not doing anything stupid with it at the time (i.e swinging it about in town) and have a reasonable excuse to have one. Hunting, Camping, Cooking, Fishing, anything will do. Same way you could have an axe and machete in your car if you were on your way to do some garden clearing.

  16. Just a quick point, if you ferret an active badger set you are breaking the law as it is 'interfering' and i wouldnt be admitting to it in a million years. As for the original question - use a lamp.

  20. Worst thing about those angoras is the jills can't usually suckle their own young.
  21. Alas the original thread entitled 'Drawing fox pre-ban' and involving a whole host of artistic works including the ketchup fox, and lab, his dog and missus, was deleted with no explanation by some tit of a mod, and is lost in time and space - and they never owned up the cowards - http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/202866-alright-im-going-to-say-it/page__hl__ketchup
  22. I get it mate.......am with you on the 'killing it because you could' thing but i dont class stoats as the same as say a blackbird or another garden bird. Maybe its because i've been brought up with the stoat as being a nuisance and should be trapped or shot when seen.......wrong in others eyes but for me more a finacial view now.... Aye you see stoats are one of those borderline animals. Whilst, you, running a game farm, may (in my eyes) be excused for whacking them, as they present a real threat to you. If i, when walking out with the gun, saw one scampering about one of my s
