  1. I disn't know that the X missus SGS had moved to the UK ......:wankerzo4:
  2. I would be willing to wager both of my Colt pistols that the chile pepper c**t with the vagina munching chiwowow is is an illegal alien....I am not surprized that it was LA LA land....(Los Angeles) .SGS
  3. I think the missus was a Peakinese that had a little bullx in her!
  4. We call that The United Social Republic of California - I grew up there , too many people no space to roam around and shoot critters. California bans too much fun stuff might as well move to the UK. Lion Hunting, Bear Hunting, Assault rifles, .50cal Sniper Rifles all banned in California. I still have two sisters there - One is a redneck lady, the other is an anti everthing and a converted muslim to boot.....Thats not really my house "BUT I DID STAY AT A HOLLIDAY INN EXPRESS LAST NIGHT" LOL
  5. It doesn't matter what the quarry is, a game terrier will try and tackle anything, no matter what size or how many claws or teeth its got. His dog turned and ran away from the quarry, so for me the dog isn't game. But in saying that the dog does what SGS needs it to do, so that's fair enough. I'll also add that I can only imagine how tough them Bobcats must be, Feral cats over here can be right tough b*****ds so I bet they're a right handful. I hunt boar with jagdterriers. A terrier that tries to latch onto a boar isn't game, it's stupid and soon dead. I put the jagds on angry small
  6. I do allot of predator calling using electronic callers and set up at least 25 yards from the speaker - depending on cover and lay of the land. This year was her second season and she knows the drill, she jumps in the jacket and sticks hear noggin out scenting , listening and watching. She has had several fox and cat's shot over her and is much more "game" than at 7 months. On one occasion she put the chase on a wounded fox and ran it up a hollow pine - she went right in after it and got bit slightly, she will readily jump on a fox but is much more wary of any cat's she has felt the swat of a
  7. I ONLY FLY THE STARS AND STRIPES ON CERTAIN OCCASIONS - 4th July, Veterans Day, Labor Day ect.....
  8. Good for you - Taking a stand! You sound so proper and polite yet you drove your point home....:clapping:.SGS
  9. I have become tired and bored with my neighbors rants & raves about gun control and all the other liberal nonsense so I put this sign up in the front yard. http://i1021.photobucket.com/albums/af340/sgshunter/Signinfrontyard.jpg He promptly called the police and asked to have it removed. The police told him he had to file a complaint with the court before any police action could be taken. Two weeks after filing a complaint he was informed that my sign was completely legal. I saw the moving Van in his driveway - I hope he is moving.... .SGS
  10. very true If you're coming to London this summer you should take particular care with wallets and personal belongings, especially in the West End and on the Underground because the entry of Romania and Bulgaria into the European Union has brought an influx of pickpockets to London. People from those countries and Albanians are also behind a lot of the crime involving cashpoints at banks and the cloning of bankcards. As the Evening Standard story above shows, the problem has gotten so big the police in Westminster have wasted time printing up a list of Romanian phrases for their officers t
  11. It's Top Secret 007 Austin Powers slang......
  12. no clint my freind you need a big frying pan and a medium sized freezer :tongue2: one hip flask would not wash one of those steaks down though,do you stash some outdoors "sgs"??????? waidmann I have a fair size freezer it will hold a butchered and wrapped elk. We process most of our own harvests - there is a hunting camp rule - "The tenderloins must be cooked and consumed in camp" Fresh elk tenderloins are one of the delicacies I look forward too. MMMMMM - Good Eatin.! Thanks SGS
  13. Great pics those deer look like Whitetail...... How do you post pics like that without having to do the link thing... Here is a picture of a young hunter from one of our camps who shot this deer with a bow. He hunted about 2 hours. After shooting the deer it went about 100 yards and he saw it go down and called back to camp for assistnce on getting it out of the field. We let Duce the wee dog blood trail and find it she was about 18 months old then - this was her first deer blood trail since then she has been on some Elk blood trails and several other deer that were hit and lost until she foun
  14. We ran about 30 trail cameras in a 5 square mile area last summer - to get an idea of what class of deer we had there. This is one of the more unique pictures and I just thought to share it. It is a little better than average buck - I like the action- http://i1021.photobucket.com/albums/af340/sgshunter/GettingOut.jpg Thanks SGS
  15. Not even close to the Goevids.....When it comes to glass you get what you pay for....
  16. Cant buy better glass than Leica ... I have done plenty of long range shooting and glassing for deer and elk. Range finders are nice but I find no use for them until I am shooting past 400 yards. I have killed two deer past 400 and I once shot a coyote at par 7 - witnesed. I didn't use a range finder on any of these - my farthest rifle game kills. If I know my gun and load than the rest comes natural. All I need is good glass and to know my rifle and load.....Range finders are great and to have one integrated into the binos is great. Wish I could afford the Geovids i'll just stay with my Trino
  17. We do call elk in here but this one was shot from a blind/hide near water it was in November and the rut was over. Elk go into rut and breed in mid September during the rut they can be bugled/called in for a close shot. I have called in many elk for other hunters and one for myself. It is quite exiting to experience being in the woods when the monster Bulls are srceaming and bugling. I have had Bulls close enough to wack with a short stick standing in front of me in my ghile screaming and spiting slobber mad.... Hair raising...... SGS
  18. OOOH thats what you call it over there.......... Is that what you all mean when ya say "Turning a bling eye" Do ya "poach" sum sheep too? LOL :11:
  19. In America we have a free government program for dummy launcher maintenance and replacement - when you have a launcher going bad all you have to do is fill out the papers requesting a new dummy launcher paid for by the government. Then they send you a voucher - all you have to do is take the old malfunctioning dummy launcher to the dummy launcher market and turn it in with the voucher and you will have a spanking new dummy launcher. The government is supposed to destroy the old dummy launchers but I am positive that a few are sold on the internet..... :wankerzo4: :11:
  20. Poaching goes on all over America. In Arizona we have a program called Operation Game Thief it provides a 24hour hot line for people who want to turn in poachers for a reward. The game in America belongs to the people and is State and federally controlled. If a man poaches a deer here he is stealing from the general population not from a land owner or lord..... On the other hand let's start a new website and call it POACHERS ANONYMOUS for the poacher who really want's to brag it up...... SGS
  21. I have had the healthcare discussion before - in a nutshell yes I am shure the media's you have gleaned your misinformation from would have you believe there is no "Government Healthcare" in America.... the fact of the matter is that each state has it's own health care program and they are all federally subsidized ..... Arizona (where I live) is one of the poorest's states - its healthcare program is called Access - I had cancer , a heart attack and more heart problems and lost my employment paid health insurance because of missing too much work time. I am now on the State managed health care
  22. Mature Bull Elk can weigh 800+ pounds. And yes mate it is a major chore to quarter and pack one out. They are fine eating...Thanks for the reply SGS
  23. There are plenty of species to hunt here in Arizona. Many of the big game species like Deer, Antelope , Elk , Bear , Big Horn Sheep, Buffalo are almost all lottery permitted. I have enjoyed hunting some of these species and would probably have hunted all of them except for the lottery system. I am not complaining , I think it is a necessary system. The reason for the system is to manage the game. If the state issued unlimited Elk permits than the elk population wouild be shot out in a few seasons. I like to hunt and an occasional elk or antelope permit every few years is not enough to keep my
  24. I have harvested 2 bull elk with archery equipment, the permits are issued through a lottery system and I got lucky in 2008. I shot this Bull at 35 yards and he went down after a 100 yards. He' was an average size bull. http://i1021.photobu.../Elk2008Oct.jpg So this is what our elk look like...... Thanks SGS8)
