I was given a basket case rifle(disassembled) by a work associate 3 years ago, it is a Savage lever action model 1899 - After researching the parts vendors online I came up short several parts that are near impossible to get.... After six months of searching for the parts I gave the gun to another friend who said He could get it fixed... Over a year passed and the original owner who gave me the gun called me and said he had found the missing parts in his work shop storage area....
