thats what i meant with "cat" bud. if this was the work of a cat then the carcass should be covered over with grass/sticks. i've not had any experiance of lynx kills(harz mountains, bavarian forest) but have heard from people who have.if the skin is removed there should be a clear killing bite to the throat and only claw marks in the skin around the body, whereas a dog will bite all over place and the whole skin will be badly bruised. its not uncommon for fox to take the head if the quarry is too big to carry("a few days old and strong") i though i would go for something more unlikly. there

First time I got shot was with a .25 auto - close range in the leg - felt like a hot poker. I have never been law enforcement and I was not in the military when I was shot.... I was 26 years old and I was in a foreign country on a fishing trip way south of the border - where civilians are not permitted to have pistols. Bullet hit the bone caused a green splint fracture (lengthwise crack) that leaked bone marrow - and I had to have screws and clamps on the bone to get it to heal... I was lucky that I did not loose my leg --- Very painful and many months of healing because I was in the wrong pla

I grew up near there and there were many sluts back then - I think I recognized one of them......... :wankerzo4: :tongue4:

I consider the use of a firearm a last resort -- If a man is conducting himself properly and is well trained than a pistol is a last resort solution to most situations. On that note why "show your ace in the hole". Open carry makes a target for criminals who might try to take the openly carried pistol.... Concealed carry is what intimidates criminals - You never know who's got a pistol and that is why they think twice... Anti gun folks would start conflicts with people who are carrying weapons in the open.....Just to have the police disarm someone for the sake making a point...... Recently

Where did you get that from mate? A violent crime can be someone being pushed onto the floor, or slapped around the face, which is hardly serious, it doesn't always represent someone being battered into a coma, or stabbed. And it still doesn't change the fact that their murder rate in the USA is worse than ours (Especially by gun). A violent crime is a violent crime in Arizona - commit aggravated assault which is any one the violent acts mentioned above and you go to jail and loose you gun rights's for ever....When the police answer domestic violence call's - some one is going to jail

I checked several sources online and the crime rate between these two cities is very similar. Vancouver rate is currently189/1000 and Seattle is at 150/1000 this is per Wicopedia - several other sources have similar or identical stat's.... What ever source I checked on line they indicated that the crime rates for Vancouver slightly higher....... Hey Ric where did you get your statistics - they are are wrong ..... 10 times higher what a bunch of moderate bullox..... I bet you go to moderate rally's and chant the same thing's over and over - am I right? I am not trying to tell you limey's t

Same around this way but do politicians listen NO then have the audacity to call people racist who speak out against it guess that makes me a racist as well i like to think i am more of a realist You blokes need a Sheriff Joe......Or 100 Sheriff Joe's.....

Erm, and you think that's a GOOD thing?? Just because someone doesn't have a record doesn't make them law abiding. I'm fair certian there's plenty of yokels shouldn't be allowed to play with a pop gun, never mind a real one. I find that quite disturbing to be honest. Damn right LG I can just imagine it in this country. Every Chav in London/birmingham/Liverpool/Newcastle/Cardif/Glasgow with a gun? Still on th plus side I guess they would thin their own ilk out..........Its just the innocent victims I worry about! 1st ning today @ 09:20 Good to hear from you Swampy ...."

I used a mechanical broadhead on that elk I usually use fixed blade heads on large game. The mechanical heads can fail to open and thats why I prefer the fixed blade's I cant remember the model name of it the manufacture sent me a package of them to try thats why I was experimenting...It cut a 4 inch hole through bull and he died quickly. It could have been a Terminator Head --- but the fixed blades I use are Rocky Mountain 100grain...Been using them for years.... So I take it that you can still buy/own archery equipment in the UK...? Yes it is all in how it is presented to the public eye...

Wouldn't it be great to have someone like Sherrif Joe over here in the UK and used common sense instead of political b*llshit....maybe then the UK could get back on track! TO THOSE OF YOU NOT FAMILIAR WITH JOE ARPAIO, HE IS THE MARICOPA COUNTY SHERIFF ( ARIZONA) AND HE KEEPS GETTING ELECTED OVER AND OVER AGAIN. These are some of the reasons why: Sheriff Joe Arpaio created the 'tent city jail' to save Arizona from spending tens of millions of dollars on another expensive prison complex. He has jail meals down to 20 cents a serving and charges the inmates for them. He b

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer signed a new landmark law into effect today. The right to carry concealed firearms no permit required. This means that any law abiding citizen of legal age may carry a concealed weapon legally. WOW Arizona is also leading the way in illegal alien enforcement. Maricopa county is the richest and one of the largest counties in Arizona and today the Head Sheriff Joe Arpio has activated a huge task force to hunt down, aresst , fine and deport all illegal aliens. WOW Both of these legal action are bound to make national if not international news. The actions that Sher

Had the year set wrong on the camera had it set for 2006. Did not want to cause confusion so I blacked it out.... Yes bowhunting is an excellent way to hunt in the rural settings that are so common in the UK. We have hunt areas where the land owners feed the wild life - Deer , Elk , Wild Pigs and Turkey. Their properties are right up against the hunting areas and it is forbidden to use firearms within 1/4 mile of these properties. We are permited to use archery equipment right up to the property lines. The deer are grain fed, fat and accustomed to humans. Some of the land owners get peed of

We call that The United Social Republic of California - I grew up there , too many people no space to roam around and shoot critters. California bans too much fun stuff might as well move to the UK. Lion Hunting, Bear Hunting, Assault rifles, .50cal Sniper Rifles all banned in California. I still have two sisters there - One is a redneck lady, the other is an anti everthing and a converted muslim to boot.....Thats not really my house "BUT I DID STAY AT A HOLLIDAY INN EXPRESS LAST NIGHT" LOL Up to two ounces medical hash per week. What's not to like? Ric Never touch the crap -

I am on new ground as far as Terriers are concerned. I did once have a bullxshepard that we took calling fo coyotes that was 20 years ago and I called exclusively for coyotes again the dog came in handy. I have only heard of a few hunters using dogs in conjunction with predator calling so it is uncharted territory. Thanks Waidman for all of the advice you have helped me with. .SGS That's the prime reason I just picked my two Airedales, Poncho and Willie ....to use as active tollers and recovery. Nice to hear from you Arron, this post has gone way further than I thought it w
