    Just had this email from Greyhound Gap. If you can spare a quid or 2 or maybe a bit more to help with this pups treatment. It has been confirmed this afternoon after a snap test and full histology showing a very low white cell count that our special 10 week old staffi x whippet girl Daisie Mae does indeed have as suspected parvo.     Years ago me and I think most people wouldn't travel too far for a pup/dog but nowadays (especially for me)I think that the internet makes it easier to find out about dogs in other areas plus you can see pics/videos of them and email back and forth re progress of pups in litter etc but at the end of the day it doesn't matter where they are from.

    Great pics. Didn't know about Gilgrin, but just googled it and I was very close to it last week when picking up a new pup. Nevermind, got a caravan just a few miles away and will visit later in the year. Gilgrin have a site with info at http://www.gigrin.co.uk.     Paranoia strikes again. Take a look at the photography section of this site and you'll see photos of all kinds of birds. Don't have to be "rare" to make a good photo. Even if he was taking photos of you and your dogs, so what, you were in a public place and he was in his own house. Maybe you ought to think before jumping to conclusions and causing trouble because of YOUR paranoia.

    As a responsible "breeder" I hope that you will be guaranteeing to take back any dogs that you sell then. Its because i am judging you by my standards that I am asking about the pups and no I wouldn't rush out to buy anything proclaimed in a mag. As for not being an idiot wouldn't it have made more sense to ask about this cross BEFORE you lined your bitch?

    If you wanted a lurcher it would have made more sense to get a lurcher rather than breeding something that only YOU want. What do you intend doing with the pups YOU don't want cos the dogs homes are full enough as it is without bloody idiots "breeding" more unwanted dogs?

    Got a dog (deerhound/greyhound) with similar problem. Just before christmas took to vets, had scrapes done and showed clear so blood samples sent away and whilst waiting for results bathed in maloseb and then applied advocate. After christmas blood samples results back, no problem with thyroid and only thing showing was borderline zinc deficiency. So lowered calcium in food and giving egg plus wheatgerm or ground up pumpkin seeds with food to try and up zinc levels.
