Alessandro Piras: Vet On A Mission Article published in Ireland's Greyhound Weekly. Written by Floyd Amphlett of the Greyhound Star "I remember one dog whose hock just about exploded. It was in a thousand pieces, I have never seen a worse injury. The owner took the dog to Alessa

  3. If you look at any site which offers fishing ALL will have directions, are you saying they all will suffer from poachers, LOL?. You need direction page to help in search engines so that people searching for trout fishing hereford, farm holidays hereforshire or whatever find your site.
  4. No such thing anymore. Pubs finally died with the smoking ban. R.I.P.
  5. As i said before, your first step is to bin the design as you need something written in html. next you need to work out what it is you are selling, is it hunting holidays or holidays with the option of hunting. front page should be simple with not too much detail but including phrases which people use to search in google etc. For instance no'one searched google uk last month for hunting weekends but 390 looked for hunting holidays. 73 searched for hunting trips.Farm and cottage holidays had 5400 searches, farm holidays 2400. Holidays with dogs 2400,dog holidays 1600. Think you will better
  6. First step would be to bin whoever has "designed" (handley scudamore) the site. It seems to be made up of lots of images (gifs) so no search engine will be able to read the content and without the search engines you are going to struggle. For instance the text has been cleaned up (but still needs work) but if you look at the source (which is what the search engines read)there is no text. You also need to get rid of all those links, if you must have them put up a links/resources page. Lots of other stuff but don't have the time now. pm me if you need further help/advice

    Calcium

Don't give them cows milk or cream,as it can give them the runs (most dogs are lactose intolerent). Raw meaty bones, lamb breast, whole or half a chicken etc and your dog not only gets fed but gets all the calcium it needs. http://www.ukrmb.co.uk for details on feeding http://www.rawfeddogs.net/Recipe/List for recipes
  8. Don't know why you think that (one) any dry food can be an excellent food and (two) why you think this one can be. If you want to say which particular type of James Wellbeloved you think is excellent then we can look at in more detail. Whats the matter with it? I'm not getting into the raw/complete argument. Mine are fed raw and i'm more than happy with their condition and health. Wellbeloved has always been considered one of the better complete foods due to its natural, hypoallergenic, and good quality ingredients. If i had to feed a complete food i would choose this or Burn

  12. Then your vet is a dick. What does he think is in in raw bone? and if you are giving then you aren't much better Skallyb if you feel like being helpfull at some point then feel welcome. If you want to slag me off your a mothers c**t and i invite you to do it to my face. Not slagging you off, just wondering why you want to feed a pup what is basically a load of crap. Weetabix, kiddies milk, halibut as well as cod liver oil alongside a fish mix and then feckin gravy granules, very apt name you have. For anyone actually interested in feeding raw as in rmb, raw meaty bones, (which i

  14. Check with the vet as Drontal Plus, used at the recommended dose, is not effective against somatic larvae of nematodes in pregnant bitches. Currently, it is admitted that only Albendazole, Fenbendazole (Panacur®) and Oxfendazole (Synanthic®, Dolthene®) can be effective against somatic larvae of roundworms (Toxocara canis and possibly Ancylostoma caninum).Nevertheless, it has to be stressed that this claim requires special administration protocols with following characteristics: Higher doses than the standard recommended dose (e.g. Fenbendazole: 50 mg/kg daily from day 45-50 of pregnancy
  15. 15 weeks is a bit late to be taking a pup. Whats he like with other dogs? Will he gnaw on a bone or show interst in kong type toy? Is he interested in you or simple commands like sit?
  16. That's the point, but a certain person on this thread can't see that because 'It's only a couple of quid'. It's not the cost that's the problem, it's the principle. So you'd let your dog/s suffer because of your "principles" How the hell are my dogs going to suffer because I don't think I should have to pay for a government sanctioned, mandatory third party liability cover policy? .....because that's what the thread is about, don't try to twist it into including normal accident cover. I have said since the beginning of this thread, if you have pet insurance you most likely

  19. It is a serious issue and layabouts are part of the problem, people who have dogs and cannot afford to look after them. The vast majority can afford to look after their dogs, obviously because they do. The issue is why should I pay just because some idiot wants to try to make himself look a hard man by having a nutjob on the end of a leash? If a chav is willing to have a banned breed then he is'nt going to give a shit about insurance is he? So the very people who this proposed law is meant to target would be completely bypassed by it. Whilst the rest of us pick up the bill. If there

  21. As has already been said if you already have your dog/s insured and microchipped then nothing will change. If you haven't then use some sense and get it done. Every week there is some poor sod posting cos their dog has gone missing or they cannot afford to have their dog treated and it ends up being pts. Mine are insured for accident only and both are microchipped There are better ways to control dangerous dogs, like stopping the owners from even having one rather than rob all responsible dog owners! Check your policy, probably find that there is liability insurance, if n
