Decided to have ago at making my self a longnet for when I'm ferreting and to use on a couple night time drops.i used the netting from advanced netting as there was no way I could knit myself a net as I have no idea how and don't think I have the patience either lol..had a little help of tiercel who told me how to get on with rigging the bagging and how to work out how many meshes I need per yard and also used the advice of tieing a bit of nylon on the netting at every 5yards so it's easer to work out we're I need to attach the netting to the head and foot line..I also used the information wh

I used a syringe took the plunger out and cut the top of (the nipple type bit) slide it over the dogs tail and faster with plaster tape....had to do it as the dog kept getting happy tail(tail bleeding at the tip due to the dog waking it agianst the pen wall when he got excited) Think I had the idea out of the countrymans weekly an artical that I'm sure you wrote penny(could be mistaken tho )

  10. Lol could tell by how there heads tillted that they were fixated on something lol how do they fair with realy tight cover? Me and a mate were talking about airdales the other week as a multi tasking dog but I was sceptical about tight cover..for rabbits ? Atb bx1

  21. Think I'll end up going along the lines of spaniel terrier and still collar the dog up just incase worse does happen.....altho I'd much prefer something very similar to hotmeats I could be waiting a fair few years for a breeding like that to come up..
  22. Pm nelson for some poles mate he sells them individualy so just buy what you need I'd set them at 5yards as this seems to be the most used way and anything over 5yard the lead and foot lines get saggy.and as scramble has said look at lc post he's put pics on aswell as writen discription
