As stated on here before by myself and others,any cur dog will draw at the end of a dig,it proves nothing of gameness in a dog,all it proves is your terriers are shite and stand back from the quarry so you need a draw dog to go in and get it out.You also talk on another thread (wheaten crosses)about all the drawing experience you have with wheaten crosses(I cannot put up the pictures nudge nudge wink wink)you live in County Down(Ireland)you have 24 posts on this site and you have admitted on several occasions that you use draw dogs.I know you are only telling tall tales to impress us all!!!!!!

depending on if you lived on a farm or had a realy good size back yard you could use something like harris fencing(stuff what they put round building sites) to surround /enclose the set up then put nylon netting on the top......

i shoot also and wanted something that could multi task.something i could use to bush,ferreting,working under the gun through the day but also something i could take out at night with me when shooting Ferrells .....now i no that a spaniel could do all those things but its the lack of speaking when working cover what puts me off a full spaniel.....i think something more along the lines of maybe a begal x terrier put to a full spaniel so has to just ad a dash of begal to the mix would probably suit better ....... or maybe even just a spaniel x terrierWouldn't you be best getting a purpose bre

Looking at getting a gate net soon and was wondering what you lads find best.the type that's set like a mini long net or the sqaure mesh which is drooped over the 2nd or 3rd rail of the gate or the gate nets with sliders on....also what oz nylon is best and does square mesh have benifits over dimond mesh....cheers

would you say these would suit someone for close up work ,,,just working brambles ,for ferreting and general mooching who would you think something with more spaniel blood would be betyter suited for that type of work..... i love the look of them begal crosses ...............but i wouldn't like chasing it down over 3 fields screaming and cursing its name like a banshee

whats the larger netting for if it lets rabbits pass throught.?is it just an extra safety measure that the bunny stays tangled if it trys to bounce back out? like double netting?

just out of curiosity whats with the white squares? Trammel net, every white square is a pocket of net it's layers of nets with diffrent size meshes to allow bunny through first layer/wall and into the pocket if that makes sense so kind of like every square is like a purse net the rabbit goes through one net with larger squares but then tangles into the pocket/purse ?

I was under the inpression that the mk3 was desighned so to not pick up interfearance....I thought that's why people put up with the fecking racket they make lol.I only had one but got rid due to the constant beepeing driving me mad but recently have been thinking off getting another one as there ment to not pick up interfearnce....gess that's not the case tho so won't waste the money
