there is an Indian lady in Leicester who prepares and sells curry sauces, they vary from very hot to very mild ,these sauces add to the taste of the meat or fish that you use not overpower it and there are no side effects. If anyone is ever in Leicester try the Martin Inn off of Catherine Street, the food is very good and cheap, don't be put off by the pub or the area, people come from all over to try this place and its often written about.

I thought I would have been more common but perhaps Leicestershire is a more fox/badger friendly area than a lot of places. The night I got the two we were on the second drop, we had just killed ten rabbits and we thought we were going to get a few more ,it was a blind drop which was nearly always good for a couple , we reached the net about centre and killed a couple, i could feel the top line twitching and worked my way down In the last twenty yards were two badgers all wrapped up they had rolled over and over and the net was wound up like a snare wire, there was nothing I could do other

there is a thread running in the trapping section on badgers getting caught in cage traps,anyone caught them in long nets I had two in a net one night and I have one on two other outings .

I had a beddy whip x in 19 70, two quid off of ken gould Sutton bonnington 1970 . The dog was not very good in the day but at night I never saw him beat , lads came down from Derby,Notts,shrops,london to have a bet and the all got pasted but to be fair they brought coursing dogs and mine was a pure lamper, I don't know how that old dog would match up to the current world beaters but I suspect he would have held his own -

I have been trying to put pictures up in reply to a question in the snaring section , all that happens is this YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO USETHAT IMAGE EXTENTION ON THIS COMMUNITY anyone know why this is ?

I have tried it all ways TC but it never happens the same way twice, the only thing that I can do is post just one picture per post , after that it takes to long to find another picture and even then I usually end up losing what I have written.

I set the traps then found a loose snare wire in the bag, I cut a peg and tealer from the hedge and set this run

I was going to put some pictures up but this new photobucket is crap that first picture shows 7 rabbits but you cannot see one, I have tried to show the snared rabbit and those in the traps but I cannot find them on photobucket . why mend it when it aint broke.
