    not been out for sometime after an operation on my hand, went in the neighbours garden wanting a 3/4 grown rabbit as we like them that size with garden taters and kidney beans, I don't think I will be able to set another imbra or fenn trap again so it be jubys only half the prolem is getting the rabbit out of the trap when its been caught ,with a fenn or imbra you have to use your hands, with a juby you can use your feet.

    camp coffee made with sterilised milk my man thought that was posh in the 50s and my granma swore blind the queen drank it as well , put me off all coffee for life.

    fed up with cherry now,that makes 23 gallon my mrs changed the recipe for the last two gallons she used orange pith and juice instead of lemons and also used champagne yeast .

    I bought this in Germany in the70s , they keep a good edge and in my opinion there the best pocket knife you can buy, any one who rates an openel knife has never handled good steel

    you say its a paid job and you are looking for tips? well my tip would be , not to take it on until you have more experience , trapping squirrels is not difficult but you still have to know how to go about it ,you have made the right start by asking for a few tips but until you put that advice into practice you will still not have any experience, start at the bottom with a couple of fenns and learn the job, its not hard but there are no short cuts, once you have the kit and the knowledge you can charge for your services, until that time squirrels ,rabbits , rats ,and moles will often m

    that style of hammer was used when was legal to set traps outside the holes they are useless for fenn ,juby or imbra sets, a hammer with a head one side and a hoe the other is to big for practical use.

    I do hope you are making light of the situation and are not serious about 'knocking on the head'. They deserve a chance at life too. I like ferrets and I have been involved with them for many years , some of these years were before mixi was about, then there was ten times more rabbits than there are about today and a lot more people chasing them also , I those days I do not recall a glut of ferrets every year in fact you had to look hard for them and lots of people had to buy them from the EAM , why was this ??     if you want to breed your own line whats wrong with taking what you need and knocking the rest on the head , melton market will be full of kits for sale at this time of the year, most will go to unsuitable owners and will be swopped or abandoned within days, its not very nice to do ,but if you have a surplus and cannot get them a berth with someone who is known or vouched for you should knock them on the head, better for the litter and better for the breed in general.
