I was born to shoot a 22, it was my third arm or even a sixth sense I was out day and night the Pheasants never had a chance [not at £2 a brace when money was good], got nicked at Wansford on the A1 in 1965 a random car check , Fine £5 , caught coursing on Ramsey Fen , the gun was in the car Boot and belonged to the driver ,it was 1967 £10 Fine with £2 costs, then 1973 shooting Pheasants and Hares at Great Ponton Six Months nick , when I was in the Cells the Judge sent for me to his Chambers and said that he was wrong and changed the term to Suspended , laughs and smiles all round an

I had Rats eat every bit of a Rabbit except the head which was exposed but I have found that Rabbits in traps get less attention than Snared or Cage trapped ones , it could that they are out of sight or the heavy Steel trap ! but I think it is because there is no Squealing . The first picture is a set up I done a few years back it was a mass of Blackberry bushes about 200 yards long and 50 yards deep I put twenty of these cubbys in around April time when the cover was at its lowest later that year in late September I put the Traps in and the first morning I had 11 Rabbits , the next m

Even you could catch a Rabbit with these Don ? find a hole in a Fence put trap down then come back in the morning and pick your Rabbit up, it's that easy , easier still if you use a setting tool and safety tool , Rabbits seem to be left alone in traps you lose the odd one but nothing like snaring when you can lose the lot .

I found a USB stick and there are a lot of pictures trapping and snaring so I will stick a few up

I cannot hold a Rod because of something called Dupuytrens that has been made worse with over 50 years laying bricks, no big deal just a nuisance at times

I started my Fishing career today and it did not go to well , to start with I could not get the line through the Eye of the Hook and whilst I was messing with this all my Maggots Effed off the next the thing was I could not fix the Lead shot onto the string so I tied the hole Boxful to the string , when I was up and running I kept trying to put Maggots on the hook but they kept exploding like little Spunk Bombs ,then when I cast my line in and sat down to Whittle some Snare pegs while waiting for a two pounder the Dog who was fed up took one of the Pegs and chewed it up
