    ive hunted round there most of my life I live at the most 15 min..not that many hares on the front side you will get your runs but you will have to work hard for them..ie the barley and roughlee side ..but on the back side i.e the clitheroe side always got a few runs if you know where to luck.. ..I don't think any particular cross will do better then others ..if the dog is fetched on around that sort of terrain I will do alright ..thay can be tricky fookers using the cover and the juncas rush to there advantage.had some good days round there...

    depends on who else vists the land there might not be a lot there ..and if you vist three hundred acres regular there wont be anything left on it..you have to rotate it only going at the most twice a month through the season..now you have got this earn the respect of the farmer ..and with a bit of luck and the right attitude you could well be get some permission on the nighbours land..good luck and dont over work the land ...

    bird......no im not having one.. dogs for jobs as the saying goes ..I need a lump more saluki in my stock for what I do the rabbits are fast and can run a bit ....but if there was a lift in the ban I would have one in a flash. if only we could run deer hare fox .I think these in the right hands would be well up for the job..put plenty of meat on the table and a bit of pest control for the farmers keeping the fox down to a healthy level..they

    I pay the keepers a small fee.and do so gladly ...ring them the night before .park up and off for trot..its great..with the farms together I have around 7000 acre.i don't pay them all but .but some .you cant beat having a stroll without looking over your shoulder all the time ..just got a 1000 acre in the dales too..i pay nothing for that just a bottle of the finest whisky no and again...you cant beat permission ...

    if you look at the previous winners of the forley cup there is a lot more bitches that have won it than dogs ..a good dog seems a lot more rare then good bitches .. most people who have litters the bitches always seem to go first for that reason.most people like to increase there chances of getting a good animal there for they tend to go for bitches. it seems a bigger percentage of bitches tend to make the grade.what iam trying to say is when a good dog comes about the word quickly spreads.but as they say it takes two to tango . I prefer dogs then bitches I seem to get on with them better.

    just keep them ticking over .if they aint chasing anything they will go at there own pace ..you can not keep a dog fully fit all year round.walks by lakes rivers streams ect.so they can take a drink none of my dogs swim they don't like it.. they paddle and that's it.lolol.summer time is rest time .and if they have had a hard season rest is the best cure ..fook bikeing them at this time of year. nice steady long walks by water.is good enough for mine ...plenty of time to get them fit come august time .

    its a huge risk mate ..it isnt like red wine .thats stored in a cellar..it should have been drank 10 years ago ..the exsperts reckon it should be drank before its ten years old.it will most likley taste like nats piss ..but i will take a risk and give you £150 for the pair... and trust me i am taking a huge risk...
