As usual it's not them that are asking for special treatment, it's the white knight brigade always 'riding to the rescue' and as a result they're cause those people more problems when the inevitable backlash comes. Most people are fairly tolerant even though they might poke fun or make the odd snide comment but I think most are fairly live and let live as long as they're not having stuff rammed down their throats. Never had turkey at Christmas in my house. As it's just me and my daughter (the wife is a vegi) I'm thinking Pheasant or duck or something. A few years ago I bought a boned pheasant which was filled with stuffing, I have no idea how the hell they managed to bone it and leave it looking like a full bird but it was amazing and very tasty!

Indeed it's very interesting. Aleppo is going to fall 100% and that is a major blow to the Saudi/CIA team. The Turks seem to be putting contingencies in to place by invading AL Bab.....they claim to stop ISIS but more likely they're trying to stop the Kurdish forces linking up across the southern Syria/Turkish border. Palmyra was attacked by a large force of ISIS who were drive from Mosul....allegedly they were allowed to escape and pushed back in to Syria.....I think that is credible

The big question is.... IF ISIS is just a terrorist organisation that just sprang out of nowhere using 'captured weapons' how the hell is it still so effective after 1 1/2 years of constant fighting? Where is it's ammo and logistics coming from? ISIS territory is landlocked! Anyone who has been in the army will know that the logistics required to keep a fighting force of 30-50k of soldiers will be huge even if they're 'irregular'

I dont get why anyone needs to go to those shitholes...this country is amazing. I dreamt of living on a canal boat, off grid. This year I finally had enough and ended up going from a semi detached house in suburbia to a caravan...when I was on my own I was living the dream but it got a bit hard when my daughter came down. Getting the bills down to almost nothing is a really nice feeling, if/when I dump the missus I will definitely do something like that....no need to live like a tramp, you can get by on a small amount of cash if you try

I have a labrador and watching him wreck beef bones is quite amazing. I once made the stupid mistake of giving him a pigs foot, he decimated it within seconds, I was picking bits of claw and bone out of the rug for ages. If he has very powerful jams I would hate to see what some of them more powerful dogs are capable of.
