    It is not illegal to shoot fox with a rim fire here now, it just isn't good sole reason to apply for one. H O guidance states that there are times when a rim fire is suitable.     Don't through your money away, your mod from your .243 will be fine on your .223. I share my mod from .308 on my .22-250 and it does the job.
