  1. Thanks that was what I was after just to help me choose between the two. Would it be okay for lamping still in your op?
  2. Thanks for quick reply, but diamond or nighteater in the same spec?
  3. Your advice and expertise please have opportunity of Nikko Stirling 3-12x 56 illuminated reticle no.4 in both night eater or diamond both otherwise the same spec as far as I can see. I sure there are better scopes but I am keen to get opinions for these two. Will they do a job for me on top of a cz 452 varmint 16 inch .17hmr for lamping and general dawn/ dusk sneaking on rabbits? Many thanks
  4. thanks for quick response. Yes its defin a fox, i have seen its prints in the sand next to the den and we don't have badgers up here. Other people have seen it cutting about occasionally during the day even. i will bear in mind the wind but do you think i will have to wait all night or there are set times the fox will head out to hunt? how close to the den can i set up my hide? i will use 36gram 1s to try and make sure I don't just injure it. I don't imagine its worth getting a terrier owner for one den...
  5. Normally I shoot pigeons crows and rabbits however my old man has a fox den in a field that you is used for horses. The holes are big and there is a real danger of a horse breaking a leg. Need to get close as I only have 12 bore. Anyone please help with tips on how I can do this and best times method etc? Can I just sit in a hide 20 yards away and wait for it to come out?
  6. Hi there I tried to pm you however as you are a new member it won't let me. I would be interested if ypu are not over subscribed already. I am not too far away if required. Please confirm the price is 20 for me,?
  7. how much are you looking for for it because I could probably do with one? Will it still work with mk 1 collars that I still have? Many thanks, Ross
  8. sorry i should have said, feel free to message me if you are interested. I am new to this forum thing and so i don't know whether i have members rights yet and can access my posts but give it a bash and if not post again here and I shall give you my email. thanks Ross
  9. Hi all, i am based in Perthshire/Tayside. Im 29 and just getting back into the hunting game after a 5 year absence due to work. I have a bit of experience ferreting with nets and shotguns but now trying to broaden my horizons into pigeon and crow decoying. Especially those crows, hate those crows possibly because they have a higher IQ than me haha! Look forward to learning from all the experience here and broadening my horizons hopefully meet some like new people to keep me right in the pigeon crow decoying side of things. Ross
  10. stevo, im not too far away outside perth. I am just in the process of moving my job back from glasgow. have plenty of experience ferreting with nets and shotguns. no ferrets currently but will defin be getting some new ones once my move is complete. wouldnt mind travelling up to you if you are looking for a hand. i only have very small permissions around perthshire currently one which might be suitable for ferreting but once my move is complete i will make a concerted effort to organise more. Ross
  11. Looking for the opportunity for some pigeon/crow decoying or shooting perthshire Tayside areas but willing to travel much further. Good guy safe shot fully licensed and insured. Anything considered Ross
  12. Im just moving up to perth mate. No ferrets currently but I will be getting some shortly once my move is complete. ..
