    Their was a few of them poaching a trout loch up the way from me,trying to make out they couldn't speak English soon got off their marks when the ghillie got fed up trying to get through to them and walked back to his jeep and let three Neopolitan mastiffs out. Don't think they ever came back.

    One of my bitches Yips a bit on a chase,I would normally put it down to being not fast enough but this isn't the case,she has speed to burn. I bought her as an adult and knowing [ after buying ] how she was raised I would say the reason for it was being entered to soon,just my opinion.

    Johnny, a good few years back my big first cross deer/gru severed his Achilles tendon,got him into vet hospital and a good few months of rest and he was back doing the business,right now I'm running a bitch that severed three tendons and cut an artery in her front foot and she's running as good as she was last season, albeit she had the full summer to rest up.

    Good reply, I was begining to think it was just me that let their dogs hunt, every body seems to slip dogs here and their,WHY keep a lurcher if you'r not going to let it hunt, you'd be as well walking the parks with a greyhound.

    Wouldn't bother buying one, if you were to get a pull when you'r out, one of the things that they will nail you with is a slip lead,they'll say you'r using it for coursing.

    I use a mag box on the dogs if they've had a hard shift,or have had knocks,but if you're thinking of getting one, do'nt use it on dogs with an open wound, if their is any infection it will accelarate it. atb WGH.

    thats a lovely dog,i think it would be a very good cross what was it like on rabbits looks big Size dosen't matter when it comes to rabbits and dogs, had a 29" 1st cross deerhound,gru, out and out hare dog but took 30 rabbits one day when most sane folk wouldn't have left the fireside,the harder the rain the better he worked.
