  1. Cracking looking dogs/bitches, had a 3/4 collie gru x with 1st xdeerhound gru, a few years back, terrific bitch one of my best.
  2. Bullet Proof mentions liverean cream I think it may be the same stuff I used years back [liverine unction] if it is it worked wonders for me, One of my bitches had a bad itch and skin reddening a couple of weeks back I used ADVOCATE for the first time so far so good, redness away and itching stopped, I got it from a local greyhound trainer.
  3. Scum out! and take kiz with em, fooking sell out c**t Dont rise to it mate kiz no doubt lives in a peacefull idylic rural village some were out in the sticks and has no conception of the real world .How the ordinary British working class man is becomeing a third class citizen in the country of his birth.atb dell Enoch Powell will be turning in his grave.
  4. Keep mine outside now, they are no worse or better than dogs I kept indoors, suits me better, between slidy wooden floors and crazy weans annoying them.
  5. Got talking to a woman on the train one day, she told me she was travelling the world to find out who were the best lovers in the world, she said so far she had found the Scots and the North American Indians the best lovers..... A.T.B. from Tonto McDonald.
  6. Great pics mate, I'm a lurcher man myself but I've always admired guys that hunt with hawks/falcons, met a guy a few years back that took his perigrine out with a Jack Russell terrier he would throw the bird up and it would fly from tree to tree watching the terrier, waiting for it to flush the pheasants up, then bang away with them.
  7. The worst lurcher I have ever seen was bred out of the best bitch that ever took a hare [according to the owner of the bitch], this guy made his reputation out of this one bitch. I also bred one of my better dogs 1st x deer/gru with a full gru bitch, kept a bitch for myself, flying machine, hunted, carried to hand, went through barb wire like a chipper, gave it away to boys that went for white hares, that was its level.
  8. Well done son, it's good to know that some youngsters are looking for work, hope you do well.
  9. ERR that sounds revolting Thats nothing to wat i had to put up with at the last job working with them Especialy [bANNED TEXT] a polish women who was pregnant was working across from me [bANNED TEXT] i saw this kurd pointing at her belly and then wipeing his finger across his throat she was in tears after .I asked her wat he had said her words not mine if its boy [bANNED TEXT] born ok if its girl i come and kill it for you. Horrible people we at the factory could understand why saddam hussain used chemical weapons on them. I'm with you on this one poacher.
  10. Used it for the first time last week,my young bitch has had a problem with mites on and of for months now, tried all sorts of lotions and potions, jags at vet, skin scrapings the lot since I've used it the redness has gone and the scratching's stopped, it may be a bit to soon to say if I'ts away for good but here's hoping done my other two bitches as well just for the sake of it.
  11. I've owned this type of cross now for the past five years and I have no complaints, before I owned one I thought it's not the type I would fancy owning but I've been converted, I have 3 now each one completly different in nature but each one has a great mouth. I've always said, you can have the fastest dog in the world but if it's not got a good mouth then It's no good to me, and they can be a lot more than a ferreting companion, so go for it and good luck.
  12. Probably get it in any Polish deli [white not green]
  13. Luke's brindle would be my pick of the bunch, looks a hare dog, how do you put pics on here.
  14. Had a dog a few years back that broke his Radius, came back well after a very long lay off, they say a break's better than a fracture in people I don't know if the same goes for dogs, hope it comes good for you.
  15. Think Big Dan may have a point about other dogs other than lurchers, keep us all informed, once their dealt with don't forget to name and shame and addresses
  16. Good to see other people's style of hunting, Happy hunting.
  17. I think you know the answer to your own question allready, How could a [good] bull x [is their such an animal] even compare to a good deerhound x
  18. Hope you catch the b*****ds, when you do name them and shame them on these pages
  19. Chalkwarren, reading through Whin's PRICKLY QUESTION read your post about wanting to write about lurcher health @ maintenance. There is a book called The Care and Maintenance of the Racing Greyhound , I've not got it myself but I got a look at it a while back,I reckon it's probably regarded as the greyhound bible, the authers are 3 American vets, it's packed full of information, maybe if Dan Edwards reads this he might have had a look at it and confirm what i've said I have tried to purchase it from Amazon they wanted £150 second hand, to expensive for me,regards W G H Sounds a good
