    Would you expect the dog to go over a fence that you lefted it over because it could have got hung????? Yes iceman there are fences that are very difficult to jump from standing still but when running full pelt it should be a lot easier. As baw said if a dog that can jump pulls up at a fence its jacked Depends on the fence and the jump really some fences are just a no go but have seen dogs clear stuff that they have no right to but seen good jumps dogs get hung up and the most easys fences.When it comes to jumping think its all about the dog having believe in its self.l dog that does not

    torin i gotta be honest thats the biggest load of crap ive seen on here fore a long time and thats my opinion. last litter i bred cost me £250 stud fee, hundred and sixty pound in fuel going up to stud dog twice ,ten lots of jabs wormers and the best of food etc from 3 weeks old kept one myself gave my son and son in law one each and sold the rest if you cant afford to rear a litter and give them the best of everything then imo dont breed to start with .plus to many want something for nothing ..why anyone would want to cull a perfectly healthy pup that they have just bred is beyond me . one o

    Very simple if there is a buyer there will always be a breeder,Look at Hancock he gets it every time on here but people keep buying so he keeps breeding if there is a market then there is money to be made.Its all ok paying good money for working dog that is doing its job . But to take a gamble on £700 or £500 pup its your own choice because as we all know we all need bet luck picking a pup.

    as i said earlier depends on what you do with them and how often. my old bitch here 14 is still usefull when ferreting, the old dog 11 is still good flushing,finding and retrieving to the gun and bushes geat for his son but i wouldnt put either on a hare if it was still legal Bitch in my picture is 8 and wont be out again as she as bad back out the other night got 9 rabbits and fox but sore for few days this happeb few times now so she wont be hunted again just long walks with the pup.Mates have had dog stiill taking fox at 11 or 12 just depends on the bitch or dog

    When a dog is not capable off catching or after each day or night out on a hunt comes back sore and takes days to recover then its time to hang up the paws and get nice bed in the house
