  1. put a photo up of one please and where abouts are you? if they are 1/2 decent,i MAY be able to shift a few but id want them 3 foot high and 3 foot wide. i agree mate, i have one of the shop bought traps and no matter how well i set and bait it i only ever catch moggies and cubs!!! i'd like to try one with more height and bredth like the one on warreners dvd where he catches a badger by accident, it was waiste high!!
  2. that nonsense gav proper digging dogs are not mute hard they need too work there quarry with brains i ve owned hard dogs and there s two in kennnells at moment one has eventually settled down after nearly 3 seasons work the other is still very hard and sometimes the hard dog can make a mess of a straight forward dig by spooking the quarry and not letting it settle the addition of bull blood should not be for aggression as bogger says if your terrier lacks courage then all the bull blood in the world wont help its time too look a better strain of terrier the bull will only benifit the good prop
  3. if i get time tomorrow i'll get some pics up... i bought in 3 pups at different stages! the 1st was a bull cross pup i got from your mate rab... 3/8bull 5/8grey shes good in everyway but i'm sure foxes arent goin to be her thing unless somebody can make a job of her in that department i'll give her to them free to good home, shes 2 years old... i've an ad on here about her anyway!! the next pup in training is a 3/4grey 1/4 wheaten and only been out twice starting the other week so i'll be ending work with him, i forget his age but i think its 13 months or so!! if this fog would piss off i coul

  16. well thats usually the way everyone does it but i always kept myself to myself and i usually never have the option of another dog although a lad has offered to take me out with his dog so i might take him up on it!! this will be the 5th dog i've entered this way... most of them have been a success to a degree tho some didnt stick the pace and one in particular just never got into it at all, she was a whippet/greyhound x collie/greyhound... she rarely ever missed pullin them down but after that it was a barkin match!! i'd really like to see this one improve, shes a really nice bitch to have abo
  17. lol your right, its hard to tell lol ... the rifles a .22mag with winchester rounds.. but i think its fair to say when people shoot foxes they'l be a few that get away injured no matter how good a shot you are!! just to add it was only one fox that needed tracked and it was found deep in a hedge about a field away the others were dropped on the spot with a shoulder shot on the first fox and a throat shot on the second last night!! and from about 60 yards
  18. shes a 3/8 bull 5/8 grey and i think shes over the 2 mark!!! i got her from a pup but i'm useless when it comes to keepin score of dates etc... thanks very much for the offer chid, i'll see how i'm fixed with work this week and maybe take you up on it :-)
