  1. Low slung double strand electric fence will stop it from entering the garden, perfectly legal solution to the problem
  2. Had a lovely young muntjac that i picked off the road the other nite, fresh as a daisy and only had a knock to the head!! No burst grassbag or a mark on the meat at all!! Very tasty it was too!! Wouldn't pick one that had been there overnight though the shade of green underneath soon tells you how long it's been there i shot 2 friday and gave them away.. Feel free to give any my way, good and tasty they are
  3. Good product but being withdrawn from sale and must be used up this year.

  5. Just making it easier to unload!
  6. It's still only a possibility but i think it could be a goer, it's a big gamble which is why i'm looking at other peoples ideas on it. Staffs it's unlikely i would need an employee early on. Cheers folks
  7. but whats the proffit? the botom line is all that counts at the end of the day mate you carnt eat your stock 50-75% gross on turnover of approx £140K. It has potential, there is associations with clubs etc established so it is a pretty tempting possibility.
  8. Ah i see, i had also thought about adding a hunting section, airguns etc as an additional pull. It does report good turnover though.
  9. As above folks, looking into the possibility of buying one locally i've seen for sale. Looking for a few pointers really.
  10. Cull them when they are moulting, they can't fly away then.
  11. Heres a big mole i had a few years back.
  12. Agreed. I think you will find that it's the same one. He's a dick, who thinks he knows a bit because he worked foR a biggeR company foR a while Again, agreed. Ah that explains it all! Not met any of theiR techs who know much about pest control, how to use products sensibly or legally in many cases!
  13. Have you only just noticed that Ratty ? Nope its growing worse by the day! Now theres another Even suggesting someone who is asking about using smoke to now use ali phos! That is crap against moles anyway! Traps are the proper way to sort moles.
  14. Muppet! He caught a feckin rat! Don't use contact gel for rats hok boi....it's a professional use only product, only for use against mice but then if you read the label then you would know that.
  15. NO. FFS there are some numpties on here these days. Use some traps. Killing a mole or any other animal intentionally with carbon monoxide (petrol fumes) is illegal smoke pellets dont work and are not for use against moles.
  16. Funnily enough i have seen one whilst out with a hunt terrierman and other mate near cheltenham a few years back, it came through 20mins before the hounds Went past a 6bar gate so the 3 of us all saw the size of it (all turned to each other and said did you see that!) the hounds took the same trail showing a size comparison, it was fookin massive compared to them!! Have also seen pug marks in the mud on farmland in wiltshire, big with no claw marks so not dog tracks! Don't forget they can shin up a tree in seconds and you may well walk right on past without ever even knowing it was there!
  17. Lol i used to think that! Soon gets feckin boring opening bait boxes all day, it's not all easy pigeon shoots and shooting stuff Pretty rare i go out on shoots in towns. But then i do work for a national company
  18. I would suggest you go away and do some homework before you go "laying some poison down" and killing some poor buggers dog! How old are you? You will have to register as self employed, pay tax, have proper insurance, suitable training etc etc etc don't play at pest control... you clearly have NO IDEA what you are doing.
  19. They may be for using these http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=.22+shotshell&hl=en&sa=X&biw=1280&bih=685&tbm=isch&prmd=imvnsfd&tbnid=a9wl0WgMLEcLRM:&imgrefurl=http://glarp.atk.com/2004_IRL/CCI/pages/22%2520Shotshell%2520Options.htm&docid=iXkn2fbZjcPUuM&imgurl=http://glarp.atk.com/2004_IRL/CCI/images/22%252520Shotshell%252520Options.jpg&w=1737&h=985&ei=L2wDT7PXOISJ8gPB2cXPCA&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=189&vpy=170&dur=297&hovh=169&hovw=298&tx=128&ty=123&sig=105930679090961945697&page=1&tbnh=133&tbnw=23
  20. i would go more with the mice doing personally, funnily enough mice do this in lofts, external bait stations etc etc etc in numerous jobs i go to! Usually when they are on their last legs, no more bait take afterwards Rats don't do it. The rat holes are probably mouse holes in the lime mortar.
  21. Harris sports mail, chapmans angling, friendly fisherman, soverign superbaits etc etc
  22. Nice beast but i wouldn't fancy any meat off a rutted stag!! Taste like stag piss!
