And you are obviously aware of that for a fact are you?? There are numerous Munty's and Roe right up to the border yes, but I think you will find they are in areas where they struggle to pass i.e. extensive waterways and motorways. No doubt, "poaching" doesn't exist outside of Wales Not what was said at all, plenty poaching all over the country, the point is i know plenty welsh guys in the hunting community who are all of the same train of thought.....deer.....holy f**k quick shoot it or get the dog onto it! It's not just them who think like that either hence why theres no deer there

The poley's a dark one Malc, what's the working strain i.e. ferret or EU?

My thoughts exactly i.e. slug pellets. Where are the ferrets kept (outdoors?) and could a contaminated slug have found it's way through the mesh into the cage and taken as a snack

I got one of the normal metal lockable safes from B&Q and paid thirty odd quid. My FAC Officer was more than happy with it and it does the job for me
