how do mate get ya self out to your permision first off and get them to write you letters stating that the land owners are willing to grant you permision to use a firearm on there land stating vermin as such ie rabbit fox . a nice little 22lr would do you grand for the bunnys especially if you wana take them in to butchers head shots good clean kill with a 22. hmr .17 ok for long range bunny not to good for taking in to butchers and tend to buffet a little on a breezy nite and peeps frown on them for fox shooting and your f/o will prob not like you using it for this. which leaves the 22 horne

well done mate good goiing that im off for the ducks on sat eve we've now started getting teal in and find it best shooting in the eve morning flight can be good but you gota get in there undisturbed and best before first light so eve makes it easier as they are away during day whcih gives you better chance of getting set up and not spooking the whole lot on the pond when you give ya first shot. keep it mate atb willum.

To be honest, they're all popular. Chicken, leek and mushroom with a flaky pastry lid.... or... classic steak and kidney, braised slowly in a rich, red wine gravy and encased in crisp, golden shortcrust....... or mixed game, with wild mushrooms, cooked slowly with juniper, redcurrant jelly, wine and herbs and topped off with buttery, parmesan shortcrust.....I've loads in the 'aul repertoire feck me that sounds like an add for m&s but they do sound rather nice can you post ? lol

dont think a terrier is good for you then as most will open up on the slightest scent of any small or large quarry and they are all very active and and as most terriers are inqusitive and head strong by nature youll have your work cut out finding a suitable match for ya self. but hey all the best hope the fella gets a proper home.

had this happen my self with 2 terrier bitches jrt and a pat lakey one nearly year and a half the other about 9 months or so pup came home at 8 weeks both got on like house on fire went every where together playeed well then one day a fight broke out of nothing then again month later each time they both know they done wrong and let them know it to . then it got more frequent and no matter what you did 5 mins later at it again yet if you were out they were fine its when they got back it kicked off big time resulted in torn ears and slpit mouths not good when you cant kennel seperatley so pup ha

tip for you lads out there any way who cares if you cant see the eyes or not ir is invisable to the naked eye so if you got a camera phone which i guess most of you have try turning the camera on it will pick it up tricks of the trade from the security industry and ir filters are over a 100 quid for use for nv as was looking in to getting one for my self. red amber green blue all cheap. but ir is bloody expensive the filters i have for work small round disc not 2" in diamiter cost 70 quid or so.

hi all am new to ferreting used the gun for rabbits but am wanting to get into ferreting got me hutch and run will follow got the permision just need the tools now so to speak am looking for a pioley colourd hob not to big and a sandy jill small type pref. must be handled and am looking for the younger the better so we become associated from an early age any one with any in the norfolk suffolk area drop me a pm if so cheers yis willum.

i either catch a rabbit or hare depending on what the land holds the dog brings it back alive,i keep it in my pocket alive and bite its ear when i see a fox that makes it squeel .that works everytime ha ha funny till the rabbit or hare takes revenge and chomps ya crown jules and sends ol charley packing

i use the wham whistle and squeak with hand but ive found recently i tryed replicating a young polt / chick the chirp noise only about 3 or 4 chirps then stop and chirp again mates all took the piss till i brought 1 in when it ignored all the other usual methods has worked twice now once for me and once for my mate.

one that gets my mrs going is you and your mum are 2 peas in a pod just the spit of her when you got the shits on if looks could kill i would be dead along while ago. that and when shes coocking in the kitchen try telling her what to do or how to do it propper boils her piss when she starts going off on one i just walk out and let her stew on it best way dosent bother me but anoys the feck out of her

essex and suffolk used to come under together but now the rep has resigned it now comes under home county's i think desert dog on here is rep for fmwtc for that area ? we set our own little club up nout much but we are still members of the fmwtc though should we need them but handle most things amongst our selves should anything accour. -
her veiws of hunting or not hunting should not under no circumstances determine weather you are fit to own a shotgun regardles of her veiws of the sport. i would get a couple of references from the shooting ground you have become a member of aswell if pos saying you are compitant and safe in the manor you use your guns. atb willum

how do mate wish you all the best in the application the top 2 shouldnt be much of a problem for you but the 3rd may be as you suffered from a medical illness (dipresion) the f/o will delve in your medical back grounds and the normally ask you out right when coming to visit if you have suffered from and medical issues. which they then check with your gp. as you need to be of sound mind to own a shotgun or firearm. but dont let this put you off explain to them the circumstances and try and get a couple of good references along with the normal references that go along with the application form.a
