  8. you wont go wrong with a tikka mate bar a saco rifle mate just bought tikka 222 chuffed to bits with it. we now home loading rounds and am very pleased with the way its grouping now. scopes on my gun are budget scopes hawke endurance 2.5-10 x56 30mm tubes. do the job for me. got my gun nearly 3 years ago now bargain only had 100 through it see the ticket from new at the guns shop came with mod and mounts £595.00 bargain. bonus with tikka t3 lite stainless no rust !!!
  9. go for the tikka mate have got 1 and no complaints got a t8 mod only down fall on this is when squeaking in at times it rings of the mod wildcat mods are good as they come apart for cleaning purposes as for scopes your worlds your oister but def go for the 30mm tubes though.atb and good luck .
  10. i have fox on my ticket but i shoot over several farms of witch are my own permision i shoot with 2 more chaps who have there own land we rotate where we go we never rape the land for foxes 2 farms we dont shoot fox on as the land owner has specifacly asked us not to so we dont. what is the point of shooting every fox you see on every bit of land you have permision on unless askesd to.i also have given up posting pics of foxes i have shot on this site as i feel there is no need for it and the same goes for hares we dont shoot hares any time of the year. once went on a hare shoot and many were
  11. how do i dont want to start an argument or fall out over this but i can honestly say that i have not shot a fox on that land since you came out with me and i havent lamped shot and driven the land since then i took a drive through there when on my way to drop you some rabbits for your ferrets the other week and that was the last time on that land. as i said im not going to rape the land as i understand that you have permision to be there aswell im not going to ruin another mans sport so i have left out the shooting of foxes there as was hoping to be shown the ropes so to speak on the digging

  13. bloody hell mate you should count your lucky stars on that one seen many a gun in the gun shops but never heard of one doing it. we were talking about this the other night we hired a under ground 100mtr range for zeroing our rifles as me mate had done some home loads for me and him and i was a bit nervy of this happening to my rifle . after about half hour to an hour me mate had a blow back from one of his loads luckaly enough the gun wasnt damaged just filled his face up with somke and warped the shell. and yes we all shit our selfs when that happened ..yis with soiled undies wilum.

  18. i agree kc and working should never be crossed or compared 2 totally different areas in my opinion but i would like to see some day a proper working class show based on the dogs ability to work ie gun dogs scored on there ability in the feild be it peg or bush or water and trials determine the out come terriers based on thre ability to find and work simulated that is to a certain standed and lurchers on there ability to course and work a simulated course to keep with in the law. all dogs seen in kc shows seem to be over weight to large to bulky to work suffer from god knows what ailments due t
  19. i have a norfolk x looks identical to a purebred but with better bone structure a little monster above ground yet to be tryed below ground bags of prey drive and overal solid little chap. lady who i met at a terrier and lurcher show said she bred and showed norfolks for 30 yrs and couldnt beleive he was a x she said he has perfect conformation for the breed with plenty of substance when i told her he was x she said its maybe what the breed needs to bring it back to its original standed of the days gone by. who knows though. mine wont be helping bring the standeds back due to him having no nuts
