    Who's got them....beddys, russells, any type of terrier x whippet. Stick up pics if you've got them, I quite like the idea of getting one to work with my lurcher and ferrets for daytime work around cover and hedgerows. (and before anyone says "do a search", you could say that about any topic, it'd be a pretty shite forum if we all just sat here searching old topics )

    You can't wrap them up in cotton wool Rob,no its not ideal for dogs especially for Whippets but hey ho sometimes you have to make the best of the job at hand with the tools you have IMO? very true mate, I used to pick and choose my runs with last dog, at first, then I just let her get on with it.. and out of all the places she could of died, it was in the field right out side my house where she new very very well, lost her foot on a little rock sticking out ground and tripped and snapped her neck.... I know what you're saying, and I've heard a few stories about dogs killing themselves

I definitely don't wrap mine in cotton wool bud, but personally I wouldn't go running rabbits around scrap metal, just seems a bit too risky if you ask me.

    not really, a rat is quicker than a mouse. Speedwise I wouldn't have thought it would be too hard for a ferret to catch a mouse............providing the mouse doesn't go somewhere a ferret can't follow obviously.

    he stuck a pic up of the smallest ferret I've ever seen so I questioned what would happen if it came across a rat under a shed or whatever....what an outrageous question!!! I understand that you wouldn't intentionally go ratting with a micro, but rats are all over the place. Genuine question, would a micro be in real trouble if it encountered a rat?

    The threads about how well people are/are not doing at the moment. When you have a proper dire session it's comforting to know that it's quiet across the board rather than you just being a numpty. Least helpful....... when you've traipsed across dozens of fields and seen cock all and the next morning Tomo has put up a post from his session on the same night and there's 814 rabbits hanging on a gate....
