I don't see what everyones getting so wound up about to be honest. If someone wants to breed bootlace ferrets or greyhound ferrets or whatever the hell they want to call them, and there are people that actually pay extra to buy them then leave them to it, if someone wants to shell out 50 quid just so they can have something that looks a bit different then fine. It's not doing anyone else any harm and if someone wants a genuine worker and has their head screwed on then they won't fall for all this bollocks and will buy a normal ferret from someone who they know works them. No she's perfectly well domesticated with me, just no one else. If anything she's over the top domesticated, as in when she appears at the end of the burrow she'll usually come to me if I crouch down and click my fingers. And if they're out in the yard and I'm out there she won't leave me alone, just follows me round and tries to climb up my leg all the time. That's what's so confusing about her, she's a proper mard arse with me and an absolute nasty little shit with everything/everybody else. Neither of them ever lay up though (touch wood!)

tried it in exactly the same place as another one that was working fine and it did it, and then the next day in a different room and also outside. I hadn't thought that it might need recalibrating, do they do that automatically or is it something I need to get done? cheers

I've got a MK3 locator that has some sort of fault, it's as if the battery is dying but it does it with brand new batteries....just a wierd tone and it'll only pick up collars less than 1 foot away, I've tried it with different collars and it's not having any of it. I know someone who's into micro electronics etc. but before I go over to his I was just wondering if anyone had any idea what might be wrong with it? Cheers
