  9. If it's not too hot, does anyone fancy meeting up at Talacre Beach (near Prestatyn) next weekend to give the dogs a run out? For anyone that's never been, it's just miles and miles of beach. It'll be a good laugh if we can get a few people down there with a decent mix of dogs. PM me if you're interested and we'll sort out a time etc.
  10. I don't think that'll be a problem, it you walk on the side of the undergrowth where the warren is the rabbits on the other side stay out in the open, but if the dog goes through the undergrowth or you approach them from the other side they're in it like a shot.

    Rabbits

Anyone else find it wierd that the rabbit is a non native species of this country? because of the sheer number of them and the amount of animals and birds that prey on them you can't imagine them not being here. I didn't know rats and the house mouse aren't native either, bizarre! This is quite interesting: Top ten invasive species 1. House mouse – Brought over unnoticed by Neolithic man, the first records are from around 1,000 BC 2. Rats – Although originally from the steppes of Central Asia, rats spread over Europe quickly arriving on ships in Britain during the Saxon
  12. There's a strip of land on the edge of a farmers field where I walk the dog and if I go there either first or last thing there' loads of rabbits sitting on the edge of it and they all bolt into the cover as soon as you get within about 20 or 30 meters of them. The cover is about 20 meters thick and then their warren is on the other side of the cover. It's possible to go to the warren without spooking the rabbits on the other side of the cover. It'd be a bit risky to ferret it as it's a public walkway and even though you very rarely see anyone there it's only a stones throw away from th
  13. the worlds gone mad, that's totally unreasonable for him to have got arrested for that
  14. Release the fekkin polecat and get a ferret! it's a bit odd for someone to think they can trap something like that and just tame it....it really isn't that simple!!! And ferret girl, blatantly an anti!!!! possibly the lamest attempt to cover that up I've seen so far, if you were attempting to cover it up that is!
  15. Dog whisper now is people in America who have wolf hybrids as pets and are having problems with them, wouldn't expect that at all would you!!!
  16. It's all gone wrong because the police will take ANYONE on these days, some of the coppers you see walking about don't look old enough to have left school never mind have the power to arrest people! And I like a woman in uniform but around here (Wrexham) you see loads of police cars driving around with a couple of young birds in it, I don't remember ever seeing that 10 or 15 years ago. A couple of months ago I was coming back from taking the dog out and two young police women were stood at my gate, one on one side and the other on the other side. I thought they were waiting for me for
