  1. No, the only bones she has are either rabbit carcasses, chicken legs or wings, or chicken quarters.
  2. I've been feeding my pup on BARF from day 1. Previously it's been purely either rabbit carcasses, raw chicken & bones, beef mince, turkey, fish and a bit of liver, kidney and veg and she's been doing well on it. A couple of weeks ago I discovered a pet shop that sells dog mince for 40p/lb, it's a mixture of either raw chicken and tripe, or raw beef and tripe. So in the last two weeks she's been on a pound of this in the morning and a quarter of a raw chicken in the evening. With fish, veg and liver also fed regularly. In the past week her breath has gone proper rank, seriously s
  3. I like it when someone asks a dubious question and everyone takes the piss, all of a sudden it's not him who's asking it's something a mate has said.... happens all the time!
  4. It's probably not specifically highlighted as being illegal because laws are usually based on past cases that have gone to trial, the outcome of that trial is then used as a precident for setting a new law.......it hasn't happened in this case because noone has ever come out with such a f'ckin shit idea. No need to thank me for clearing that situation up
  5. Dog biscuits much lower % protein because of the other stuff that's in there (rice, corn etc)....stuff that ferrets don't need and can't digest. I think I'm right in thinking that neither dog or cat biscuits are good for ferrets, but if you're going to give either you're better with cat biscuits as it's higher in protein so better matched to what ferrets need, but still not ideal.
  6. and if that's not deliberately trying to provoke an argument I don't know what is!
  7. why did you haul it back,i,d of given it more slack no, you misunderstand, Ethyl hauled the dog back as she was diving at his bits
  8. Has anyone ever used one of those dog scooters? I quite like the idea but not only are they a right rip off wouldn't you look like an absolute burk going along on one of them! http://www.snowpawstore.com/dog-scooters/dog-scooter.html
  9. On days when it's been raining I've been taking mine on a field alongside a river and alternating between throwing a ball across the field with one of them chucker things and throwing it in the river, get's her running fast and swimming constantly for an hour and the river stops her getting too hot. Trouble is there hasn't been many rainy days! Think I'll alternate between running alongside bike every other day and mooching through the woods and swimming. And chasing the ball when weather permits!
  10. No, it's the most natural thing in the world to them, never seen a ferret that won't go down a warren. How effectively they bolt rabbits is varied but 99% of ferrets will bolt rabbits to some extent.
  11. i rest inbetween, every second day works for me. what do you do on the rest days? just a mooch?
  12. would it be bad to run them alongside a bike for an hour a day pretty much every day or should you rest inbetween?
  13. I took mine on a 10 miles cycle yesterday with 15 minutes of swimming in the river at the end....when we got back I could barely even walk up the stairs and that sod was throwing a ball around the living room and half an hour later mithering to go for a walk....if she keeps that up I'll get myself a motorbike and that'll shut the fecker up!
  14. The only thing that'd stop me is not regularly seeing my parents, sisters, neice etc. If I wasn't close with them I'd up sticks and leave this country behind in a heartbeat! It would cost a few quid getting your dog over there sure, but if you were making decent cash while you were over there you'd soon make it back up again.
  15. that is a very nice looking dog pal!
  16. well if you live in an asylum you're gonna see some wierd behaviour!

  19. they're like everything else imaginary....they can do all sorts of things that real things can't do
  20. Regardless of the ethical or legal issues, it's a bit pathetic to want to hunt rabbits in a fenced in area anyway to be perfectly honest! Pointless, and hardly challenging is it! It'd be like putting a trout in a garden pond and then going fishing for it...............do it properly FFS!
