    i would advise you dont even leave a caged dog alone.. on a shoot day a couple of years ago,someone pulled alongside one of the keepers trucks with a cage full of spaniels and simply lifted it of onto theirs and drove off.

    only know of 1 fella who does that, the rest just do it to fill their freezer, only take what they need. im NOT taring everyone with the same brush but the majority dont Gem.. believe me,ive taken some bags that many wouldnt match and had no choice to as i done it to pay bills etc.. Things are alot better for me now in alot of ways plus if i need anything for the freezer i simply phone a few keeper mate and go shoot what i want

    Gone are most of the PROPER old school poachers that took one for the pot.. whats left now are thieves,hardly one will take what they need but rather kill loads to line their pocket and some just have the need to kill a mans livelyhood and leave the carcasses

    Yeah the korda funnle web mesh tube is what im using just ts the micromesh one and one drop of rain and the whole bag falls apart on the cast. Richard i usually remove my hook link,fit the new mesh,replace bait whatever and reattach hook link under cover,bivvie, don't seem to get any probs,maybe im just getting it out quicker than you,most of my mates do the same to be fair Yeah thats what i'll have to do maybe take the hook link off and use a baiting needle to put the bag over the hooklength and rest it on the hook instead of just hooking the tip of the bag what about the ba

    a chap i know had a very well known corsing greyhound that would kill a hare but retrieve those that bit back every time.. the boys were known hard men in all field of the rings but slipped another to hopefully finish the job until i educated them wouldnt wana mess with the boys though ,talk about 'one man mafia in their own right!'
