    as said,unless you have a few quid,id dismiss the idea and get a clip on lamp mate.. i dont get the earth dog magazine no more but there was often night vision scopes in there for sale ranging from £100 plus.. save yer money,i wouldnt bother

    Im led to believe it takes a good terrier to work an otter, or should i say it used to, Thats a big fxker that one. your right,ive read stories on otter hunts,the hard type terriers didnt usually make a season.. may be some older generation on here that have worked them?

    there are some in the countrymans weekly often for sale or go on the for sale section on this site as there are sometimes some for sale.. ive used shotguns to dispatch them in cages but from close range otherwise theres a chance of knackering the cage..failing that,borrow a 410 from a friend

    i do alot of rabbit shooting at night.we get better esults with shotguns than the 22 or 177hmr why not offer to ferret the place.

    lower than £100 couldnt get a russell pup around here for less than double that price.
